Luggage storage at Tokyo Disneyland

We're heading to Tokyo this April and have a question about luggage. We're staying at Tokyo Marriott for our first 5 days before moving over to Tokyo Disneyland Hotel for final 3 days. We're planning on taking car service from Marriott to Disney early that morning as we're traveling with oversized luggage. The question is will the Disneyland hotel hold our luggage for us as I'm assuming our room will not be ready early AM?

Yes, the Disneyland Hotel will certainly hold your luggage for you the morning of your check-in., if you take your bags yourself to DLH bell services that morning.

Just got back from 2 nights at the Fantasy Springs Hotel -- we left our bags with the front desk when we checked in at 7:45m and when we went back after dinner to get our room keys our bags had already been delivered to the room.

Good assumption. In Japan it is standard that check-in time is check-in time.

I think there is an area in the shopping center where you can drop your bags and they will be delivered to your Disney resort room. I will be staying at the Ambassador and thinking about using a luggage service, since I am going to Nagasaki for 3 days after I land.

Yes, at the Tokyo Disney Resort Welcome Center. It's a short walk from Maihama Station. From the FAQ linked, the operating hours are 7:30 - 4 the day of check-in.
