Luggage at Burlington Coat Factory.....

For those who live near a Burlington Coat Factory store....
I've been pricing new luggage and found what I thought to be a great deal on luggage by a reputable maker.

American Tourister upright roller. I bought 2 of the 28" size for $49.99. They also had a larger size (30" or 32"??) for only $59.99.

Buying larger luggage to use as checked bags in an effort to eliminate the need for carry-ons. All 5 of us now have large checked bags. I spent $130 (on 3 new pieces- 3rd was a Coleman 30" on clearance at another store $30!) and saved $175 in carry-on fees (Frontier) Woo Hoo!

Be careful of the larger sizes. They are very easy to exceed the 50 lb weight limit and some of the airlines charge a fee for oversized luggage. We always use the 24 or 25 inch as our checked bags.

Yep. That's why I didn't get the bigger ones even tho they were the better bargain. We will be mindful to weigh them before we "finalize" our packing.

ETA The 28" bags are 60 linear inches. Frontier size cut off is 62"
