Linking ADRs to resort (DDP)

I made my ADRs before I booked our package so our ADRs are not linked to our room. We are using the DDP. Is there a reason I would want to try to get these linked? I'm assuming I would need to call the dining line to get this done. It just seems like a lot of trouble, but I'm sure there is a "Disney reason" to have it done.

No reason to do any linkage at this point since all your ADRs are set. Each restaurant will ask if you are on the dining plan when you arrive.

Linkage between the room/dining plan and ADRs is only needed up front for things like:

1. Getting the 180+10 advantage when booking ADRs (booking 10 days of dining at 180 days prior to arrival)
2. Reserving CRT without paying up front.
