Lightning Lane Question

I have a question about Lightning Lane Multi-Pass (based on Disneyland rules, not Disney World):

Question 1:
If I make a reservation at 8:00am for Indiana Jones at 4pm,

Then at 10:00am, once 2 hours have passed, I make a reservation for Space Mountain at 3pm

Would I then be allowed to book another reservation once another 2 hours pass at 12:00pm (even though I have yet to use either of the reservations I've already made), or is there a limit to the number of reservations you can have placed at a time?

Question 2:
Alternatively, if I made a reservation at 8:00am for Indiana Jones at 4pm,

Then at 10:00am, once 2 hours have passed, I made a reservation for Pirates at 10:05am, once I use the Pirates reservation, will I have another available even though I still have the Indiana Jones one later in the day booked? Or would I need to wait another 2 hours.

Trying to plan an optimal day. Appreciate the help.

(WDW info, thread has since been moved to Disneyland forum)
All your logic is based on Genie+, but that's not at all how it works with LL. With LLMP, you can pre-book 3 rides in 1 park (only one tier 1 ride for pre-booking). Once you use one, you can book any other ride in any other park. You can hold 3 at any time. Use 1, book a new one. Repeat.

LLMP doesn’t use the 2-hour rule. You can book 3 in advance (7 days or 3 days) then it’s a rolling 3 in the parks — use one book another.

I was asking for Disneyland, not Disney World; I believe the rules are different amongst the two parks based on what I've read.

This differs between Disneyland and Disney World, right? Disneyland still follows the rules as I explained above based on the info on their site.

Q1: Yes, you can book again at 12 Noon
Q2: You can book again after tapping in to Pirates, since it is your most-recently-booked attraction. Tapping in to your most-recently-booked attraction lets you book another. Tapping in to an attraction that is not your most-recently-booked one does not.

I agree with prior poster that you posted in the wrong forum.

NOTE to Administrators and/or Moderators: This is far from the first thread to post a Disneyland question in the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies forum. I know that forum is for Walt Disney World, but that is only stated in the fine print. I think the forum title should be changed to include WDW or the like in the forum name. Ditto for the Disney Resorts and Disney Restaurants forums; let's let people know it's only for the Florida resorts.

Yes, the LLMP rules at Disneyland are similar to Genie+, except:

You must scan into the park before you can make a selection. No more stacking rides from the comfort of your room. You must physically be inside the park.

You can pre-purchase the passes months* in advance, but you can't pre-select your one ride.

*Since I only book our DL trips 1-2 months in advance, I really don't know exactly how far ahead you can pre-purchase LLMP.

Once you scan into a park you can select your first LL. However you do not get to book the time slot you want. You can only book the next available time slot and it is highly unlikely Indiana Jones would be out to 4:00 PM first thing in the morning. You could monitor and book when next available reaches your desired time slot or book and continue to modify the booking as the day progresses.

The answer to both your questions is YES. The rule at Disneyland is that you can book a second LL 2 hours after you have book one or used the last one you booked. Now if you booked SM at 8am for a return time of 11am and then booked Indiana Jones at 10am for a return time of 2pm. You will not be able to book a 3rd LL until noon, even if you use the SM right at 11am.

Look up LLMP or even Genie+ Disneyland videos on YouTube. SoCalDisneyDad and ParkPass both have great videos that explain all the ins & outs and tips & tricks.

Not the OP but if I book the available time for something but actually want it later, if I modify the time do I restart my 2 hours waiting until I can book another LL or is the 2 hour wait still from the time I originally booked it?

If you MODIFY it does not restart the 2 hour clock. Always modify, never cancel and rebook.
