Life is either a Daring Adventure or nothing at all... 1st ever Solo trip Dec 2024 Trip Report COMPLETED 01/19/25

If I ever do a MVMCP again I will take your advice for sure ◡̈
If I ever do MVMCP again I’m only going to do Tomorrowland Speedway and Space Mountain (for their holiday overlays) and then I’m going to stake out a spot for the 8:30 parade (EARLY) and then the dessert party. That’s it. I honestly don’t know how others manage to “do it all”.

Doing it all would be so stressful — and probably likely to fail. We did most of what we wanted, and that did not even include the parade or shows other than the fireworks.

OP, thanks for this trip report! A nice read. :)

Being solo made hunkering down a challenge with nobody to save spot to run to bathroom or get food
I've also found it challenging to stake out a spot as a solo traveller. Aside from the issues you've mentioned, I've found people don't seem to have as much respect for personal space when there's just one of you. They'll just squeeze in and kind of gradually take over until you suddenly find yourself pushed out of the space. Not everyone of course and I have met some lovely families while waiting for shows! But I do find it more common when I've been travelling solo.

Monday December 02 - Jollywood Nights:

Went to get the party wristbands from Muppet*Vision 3D, Stage 1 Company Store. On the way I stopped for some photos. Why do they always make you do the silliest poses 😂

View attachment 919646

I had purchased a LLSP for Rise of the Resistance, with a return time for 5:15 so I enquired about when the Warm & Fozzie photo op started and then headed to Galaxy’s Edge.
WOW!! What an amazing ride. So much going on, such incredible detail! I loved it so much, and the CM’s were spot on in character which made the ride even better. Seriously amazing!! 2nd best Disney ride (not sure anything can top Cosmic Rewind for me)

View attachment 919647

I walked about enjoying everything. Checked out the Twilight Soiree and then it was time to go and get my warm & fozzie robotic arm photo op. It was so embarrassing being solo, especially seeing as the whole long line was right there watching, but they were kind and clapped and cheered everyone on. I enjoyed it and as silly as it was I love the results. Can’t share video direct here and I’m not putting it on YouTube 😝

Checked the ride wait times and since it was short I headed to Rockin’ Rollercoaster for the last time 😭 I’m ᴖ̈ they are taking Aerosmith out of the ride but love that it will be a Muppets theme as the replacement

View attachment 919648

Was feeling a bit hungry so stopped and ate an agent p croissant and hot chocolate. Yummy!!

View attachment 919649

I was checking times and decided to take meet and greets off my to do list. If the lines lowered then maybe I’d go but it was no longer a priority as I had better ways to spend my time than waiting in a line to meet characters.

I headed back to Galaxy’s Edge and rode Millennium Falcon and then Rise of the Resistance again. Seriously love both of these rides so much.
The line to meet Mando & the child was over an hour so I went to Oga’s Canteen and got in with a 5 min. Wait.

I ordered:
Nysillin & Bubbles with Brub Berry Essence

  • EMPRESS 1908 GIN
  • ST-GERMAIN ELVERFLOWER LIQUEUR
  • BLUEBERRY-LIME JUICE
  • TOPPED WITH TONIC WATER AND GARNISHED WITH AN EDIBLE HIBISCUS FLOWER
the $18.00 price tag & the standing room only was a huge deterrent to me ordering food or more drinks. Was really fun to experience, a cool vibe, but a definite one and done for me.

View attachment 919651

Walked about but all the character meets were still too long for me to stand in line for. Watched the fireworks for a bit but my back & legs were starting to cause serious pain.

Hopped on the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride as it was a walk on. Enjoyable!

Wandered around some more and remembered I had put off the Jollywood sign photos so went and snagged one

View attachment 919658

I still hadn’t made it to watch “What’s This” and "Holidays in Hollywood" , which were the last things on my list of to do’s (since I already gave up on character meets), but I was physically done. I think because I already watched both online I didn’t feel super motivated to stick it out through the pain.
Would have been nice to see them but it was a more appealing idea to head back to the resort early and miss all the crowds at the bus (it was just me and another lady who had the same idea).

Even though I had to remove things from my must do list I had the best time. I Love Jollywood Nights, the whole vibe, the atmosphere, it was spectacular and would love to go again another year. 👍🏼👍🏼

Back in room I had a nice video chat with home, ate my gross food I bought on the way out of park (some Starbucks spinach omelette that may have been tasty had I ate it when I bought it instead of waiting to get back to room), took a much needed epsom salt bath and popped some pain killers. I have a partial rest day tomorrow, no parks and the MVMCP in the evening. Excited to get some much needed zzz’s.
Glad you enjoyed Jollywood nights. I loved your outfit but thought I could never walk the park in those shoes!

Looking back on the party comparing what I did vs what I wish I had done, the only thing I think I would change would be the meal time I took. Instead I’d prob bring something or get something to go and eat while I snagged a good spot for the parade/fireworks.

When I was in the planning stages I had so much I wanted to accomplish at the party. Thankfully that’s kind of my MO, plan like a wild woman then adapt in the moment. Not only did my wants change but also I just let go of things I would have liked to do but wasn’t a feasible option without resulting in tears lol. I have nothing but respect for those bloggers I’ve seen who just go militant style and seem to get to every single thing. It’s a definite talent I have not mastered lol.

I agree, that kind of go go go to get it all done seems so beyond chaotic and stressful to even attempt, especially for visitors who are not pass holders and only go once a year or less.

☺️ Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it and I’m glad you are enjoying reading ◡̈

Yes I experienced a bit of that too. Almost like I was being rude to not get out of their way because there was so many of them vs one of me. It had been so long since I had gone to a theme park in the USA, I forgot just how entitled and rude some can be. (Not that that’s a USA thing, it’s just that my most recent trips before this one have been in Japan and it is definitely much more common in the USA than there).

Glad you enjoyed Jollywood nights. I loved your outfit but thought I could never walk the park in those shoes!

I really did. Thank you ◡̈ The struggles I had when packing, trying to decide what to actually wear resulted in me bringing a larger suitcase to have options in case of weather. Funny that I ended up wearing what I had originally picked.

The shoes are deceiving, they look like dress shoes but are actually a memory foam sole and stretchy (almost similar to a tensor bandage) material. Like walking on puffy clouds.

Love the pass along rain poncho idea!

How’d you like Skipper Canteen? I’m a big fan of the cheese bread, so good!

I know what you mean about the rudeness when it comes to parade time, no Christmas spirit I tell ya. My daughter had a sliver of space at the end of a taped-off area and this big family kept shoving their stroller at her hoping she would move. She stayed put and when the parade came, all the nastiness melted away and it was pure fun.
Next year we’re going to scope out a spot EARLY! View attachment 921204

For the fireworks we always do the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. The parties of one or two people get the seats with the best view. You just relax and enjoy adult beverages (think POG mimosas) and desserts (some savory snacks) and enjoy the fireworks without all the pushing, shoving and kids on shoulders. Do this for any MK fireworks, totally worth it!
I’ve been debating booking the dessert party for me and DD (12) because she has a hard time with crowds and to avoid having to reserve a spot. I don’t drink alcohol so i feel like i am paying a lot. Question is- if we have an early dinner at like Tony’s would the dessert party give us enough for the cost? Thank you!

Sorry to hijack Dena’s trip report but this just happened to us. My daughter has issues with crowds too so if we want to enjoy the fireworks, the dessert party is must for us. This last trip we had a 5:00 Crystal Palace dinner reservation and the dessert party started at 9:00. We were still so full from dinner we couldn’t enjoy the dessert party treats. Next time we’ll have some cheeseburger egg rolls or quick service and save room for the desserts! 😊

Thursday December 05

Park Hours: 8-7 Early Entry: 7:30-8

The extra sleep from leaving the party early last night was so helpful for waking up at 6AM. 😬 I was ready and at the bus stop by 6:30 to start off my early morning at Animal Kingdom. My only goal for this early entry was to ride Flight of Passage, so I just had to be on one of the first busses.
We got to the park by 7 and I walked up to quite a few people already in line, but thanks to EarScouts I scanned all the unopened entry spot and saw cast members looking to be getting ready to open. I walked right up to the front of an empty line and waited. A few moments later a very friendly and talkative CM came to man my line. Loved that for me lol.

IMG_1716.JPG

Went straight to Pandora and headed to Flight of Passage, along with 95% of the crowd. What a great ride 👍🏼👍🏼 Seriously in my top 3 rides this trip.

IMG_1720.JPG

Met some great people in line and they invited me to come ride Na’vi River Journey with them. I was thankful for the invitation, especially since it was a walk on. Love this ride too, beautiful and relaxing.

Said goodbye to my new friends and we went our seperate ways. Wandered about, took some photos and just enjoyed the beauty of Pandora.

2024-12-05 - Disneys Animal Kingdom Park - Pandora the world of avatar_9.jpg

Next I headed to Kilimanjaro Safari. Got on the vehicle at 8:40. I was quite impressed to have 3 super popular rides checked off already. Loved the safari, it was nice to see the new Lions 😻 but this guy was my fav.

AA345EC5-6A13-49C4-AEB3-DD6966EEA80C.jpg

Had to go ride Expedition Everest. It is such a fun coaster, as you can tell from my screaming face lol. It was walk on so I probably could have rode it 2-3 times in a row had I wanted to. I mean I did want to but I had things to do.

2024-12-05 - Disneys Animal Kingdom Park - Expedition everest legend of the forbidden mountain.jpeg

Hopped on the train to Rafiki’s planet watch. Watched the vets work on a sick meerkat for a while, then went to the animation station and drew goofy hahahahaha my artistic skills have NOT improved even a tiny bit since the last time I tried it 😂

Hopped back on the train. The park got very busy while I was off enjoying Rafiki’s place, pushy crowds everywhere. In case you haven’t noticed the theme, I hate pushy rude crowds lol. NoFun 🙄

Headed over to The Festival of the lion king. Loved it. It was as wonderful as I remembered it to be. Such talent and a truly enjoyable show 🤩

IMG_2253.jpg

Wandered around and just enjoyed the sunny day while avoiding the big crowds as much as I could. Sadly my one pair of sunglasses broke hahaha - not really hahaha but more of a 🤬 kind of hahaha because I had no choice but to shell out a small fortune for a new pair. I swear I’ll be paying this trip off for years 😬 They cute tho' lol

IMG_2631.JPG

Walked around a bit more taking it all in and then I was just over the crowds so I headed to the busses. Stood around for a bit deciding where i wanted to go next because i hadn't expected to be ready to leave Animal Kingdom so soon. I decided that since i was being so indecisive i should just go back the room to take a rest, which turned into a 2.5 hr nap! Oops 😬

Got up and headed back to the busses having the internal debate over Disney springs or Hollywood studios. Today was a really indecisive day for me. One of those days when you can not make your mind up about anything, like my brain was just not braining at all. Eventually I chose Disney Springs as I had yet to go and had some things I wanted to buy.

IMG_1845.JPG

It was crazy packed. Took it all in then I checked out my favourite store.
I remember last time we were here Stitch sprayed water at you, Does he still???

IMG_1854.JPG

I was looking to buy a zip up. I love the spirit jerseys and all that but i need a sweater with a zipper for easy on and off. My hair is way too long to mess around with pulling tops on and off lol.

Sadly they didn't have anything i liked with a zipper so I headed to Basin as I needed to grab a bunch of mickey soaps to bring back as Christmas gifts.

Basin_seasonal.jpg

Took in more of the surroundings, grabbed some refill popcorn and a coke (Yuck! The pain is real for a Pepsi girl like me) then made my way to the resort busses.

The ASMu line was so long and i noticed that the ASMo line only had a few people so i hopped on that bus. In reality it’s about the same distance from their drop off to my room as it is from the ASMu drop off. Made a food order on the way and chowed down in my room. Rest, hot bath & zzz’s

Tomorrow is my last park day! 😭

Friday December 6th

Last park day :( Can't believe how fast this trip went.

Late start to the day. Last night before bed I was deleriously tired so I had changed all my early LL’s to afternoon just to get more sleep. Woke up nice and refreshed. I noticed that I had started getting a rash starting from top of feet all up calves and thighs. Is it the dreaded Disney rash???

IMG_1885.jpeg

It’s not red and only the part on my feet are raised, and feels like super dry skin does, the rest of it is just skin coloured dots. Googled pics for Disney rash, bedbug bites, rashes in general and couldn’t find anything that looked like my issue, I guess we shall see if it gets better or worse. I have been Epsom soaking feet each night, drinking water with hydration aid, raising legs up on wall before bed each night so I did all I could to prevent the Disney rash . Whatever it is it is not the gift I wanted to take home on my last park day.

Anyways, enough of that, I left for the park at 1:40. Decided last day would start off at Magic ingdom then wherever my heart desired. My first LL is 140-240 so it should be good. Made it with loads of time to ride Buzz Lightyears space ranger spin. It was same as every other time. Ok. I ust really suck at shooting, so ya lol.

Next I went to ride the Jingle Cruise as I hadn’t rode it yet. It was good corny fun with an adorable Xmas twist.

IMG_1893.JPG

Then I saw big thunder had a 10 min wait so ran for that. It was more like 5 min wait, last row all to myself. Fun! Love this ride!!!

IMG_1903.JPG

Only LL left in magic kingdom is for Haunted Mansion so I zipped over there. On the way i was lucky enough to see my favourite munks walking towards me so I just had to stop to say hi. They weren't taking photos with guests but were sweet enough to pose for me to snap some of them :)

IMG_1908.JPG

I love Haunted Mansion but didn't get a single photo from the ride and the actual ride photo was horrific as i was booking a LL right at the wrong time hahaha so i won't be sharing that. As much as i adore the classic ride I have always favoured it with the Holiday Overlay as I am a huge NBC fan. I actually didn't know that WDW didn't do the overlay as well. Learned a lot on this trip.

I remembered that I still hadn’t gone to Mickey’s Philharmagic so jumped on that. Super cute. I really liked it.

IMG_1919.JPG

Then I decided I NEEDED to ride Tron one last time so I headed that way. The wait was 45 min 😭 BUT the ride is just that good so in the ick line I went. Tron was the longest waits I had of the wole trip but worth every minute.

IMG_1926.JPG

Time to wander about and then I’m sure I’ll hop to Hollywood Studios.
Took a little time just to people watch and take it all in, then got one last pic on mainstreet with the castle as i was exiting the park. Good Bye Magic Kingdom, I promise i won't take another 11 years to return.

IMG_1929.JPG

I was feeling a little crappy so i decided to go back to my room to rest and I probably need nourishment. Chilled a bit had a Epsom salt bath to calm the feet and legs. Rash is still there but not getting worse.

Video chatted with my daughter and was really struggling with just going to bed or going back to a park. She reminded me that it’s my last day and I can sleep on the plane so I said what the heck, and now I’m back on the bus at 7:30 headed for Hollywood Studios even though it closes at 9 lol.

I just booked a lightning lane for millennium falcon but pretty much every other LL is not available. I’ll go ride Millennium falcon then maybe hop into the Rise of the Resistance line depending how long it is. Right now it’s 8pm and showing a 40 min wait for standby.

Pretty sure this was my favourite place this trip ❤️

IMG_1945.JPG

So Millenium Falcon was great as always, Rode with a group of 5 and they were fun. I got off and went straight to Rise of the Resistance as it was now only a 25 min. wait. Rode that and it was just such an amazing ride. The whole thing really feels lie you walked into the movies!

IMG_1959.JPG

I was hoping to get off and be able to go through once more but it was 9:04 when I got to the front again so it was closed. 5 min faster and I could have rode back to back haha. Oh well it was the best way to end my trip. I took my time exiting the park, taking photos and just taking it all in. Tomorrow is home day so I get to pack it all up once back at the room😬 haha

Hi! I got behind over the holidays but I'm back and catching up! I love your 4 parks/1 day!! I always look closely at Rey - one of my former students is a friend of Rey. But, not the one you saw. Oh well. And again, the fireworks crowd. It truly makes me not want to go. At least with Fantasmic, I can get there early, get a seat, and feel comfortable. I'm not sure if MK fireworks will ever be a thing for me again.

Sorry about your sunglasses. But - honestly, I always take my worst sunglasses with me 1) in case they get lost but really 2) in the hopes that they break and I am "forced" to buy another pair of Mickey sunglasses. Also - your hair is BEAUTIFUL! I don't think I've fully seen it down until your sunglasses shot. Wow!

And, for the next time you are back - do you know about the Everest single rider line? I often use that when I'm alone and it is usually VERY quick. I have ridden up to 4 times in a row. Usually I have to stop after 4 because I am dizzy.

I understand your dilemma on your last night. I usually do the opposite of you - I pack it in early on my last day. But that's because I now drive to Disney so I am facing a 12 hour drive the next day and sleep is essential for that. It sounds like you had a great trip though. And now you've done it all solo so you know you can do it again (and again and again and again). No? Just me??

Thanks. I really enjoyed the 4 parks day. Something I don’t think I would have been able to accomplish had I been with my daughter 🤔. That is so cool that your students are CM, would make park trips extra fun to run into them working. Now that I e been back for a month, caught up on the lack of sleep lol and thinking clearly I have come to the conclusion that MVMCP in general, is not for me while solo. I am sure I’d give it a go again with my daughter (with dessert party purchase to deal with those crowds) but I just know I would have had more fun at one of the other parks instead.

Sorry about your sunglasses. But - honestly, I always take my worst sunglasses with me 1) in case they get lost but really 2) in the hopes that they break and I am "forced" to buy another pair of Mickey sunglasses.

Thankfully they were cheap foldable travel sunglasses but since I have such sensitive eyes I had no choice but to buy a new pair. Either that or go back to room to grab another pair and I wasn’t about to waste my time on that lol. The place I stopped at didn’t have a lot of selection but the ones I got are cute and will be a lovely piece of Disney ❤️ in the summer when I can wear them again.

Also - your hair is BEAUTIFUL! I don't think I've fully seen it down until your sunglasses shot. Wow!

🫢 Thank you. That’s so sweet.

Thank You! I'm not sure if i knew that but great to know for future trips. I will do a solo trip to WDW again someday (maybe once you guys are not talking about taking us over anymore lol). I've decided my next adventure will be to HKD and Shanghai Disney...Solo!!!

I would 100% do it your way if i was driving, need that well rested state to attempt that for sure. I am super glad my daughter convinced me to go back out for the last bit of park time, even though i was out of energy, completley exausted from all the go go go, i know i would have regretted it had i ust went to sleep. Plus it was really nice being in Hollywood Studios after park close with little other people to just wander about and say good bye. My friends are still shocked and impressed that i did the solo trip and yes, now that i have done it it has opened up a whole new world of travel i want to do just me, myself and I so no, i don't think it's ust you who get's bitten by the solo bug lol.

Saturday December 07: Home Day

I was up until past 3AM packing everything up i figured i deserved some extra sleep. 🙂 Once up I had planned to drop my bags at the luggage storage, hop a bus and go anywhere, but there was a HUGE line for bags that would have ate up a big chunk of my time, so instead I grabbed a drink and found a nice cozy spot outside and took in all those glorious rays. 🌞 Seeing as there is a Winter Storm ❄️ starting up at home I figured I needed to stockpile all the extra sunshine I could get. Hopefully I will be able to actually make it home as we all know how winter weather & flights don’t get along that well.

4.jpg

I handed out the remainder of my Tsum Tsum sets to people walking by, I really enjoyed spreading the Pixiedust (A perfect way to get rid of all my duplicate collectables), and then I headed to the Mears shuttle spot for my 1:15 pick up.

7.jpg

My flight isn't until 5:55 and I really hate that you have to be at the airport sooooo early for international flights. The shuttle bus was late, maybe that’s why they have you go so early 🤔 lol.

5.JPG

Bye Bye Disney. It's been amazing!!

It was an uneventful bus ride to the airport. Once there I grabbed a Pepsi and headed to the Disney store for my last chance to find a zipup that i liked. Success! I snagged this black WDW zipup. The hood says "It's kind of fun to do the impossible - Walt Disney" and the back says "A park of joy and insperation and new knowledge where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn together". Love that!

1.JPG58DA25A2-C3DE-418B-89CB-C3D4FADFBA9C.jpg

I finished my beloved Pepsi and headed to the security line. It was an easy/not too long line but my bag did get pulled because I had packed the remaining bag of epsom salt in my carry-on, and of course it must have looked weird on the scans lol. I did use the MCO Reserve to book a time and that line did go faster than the regular lines from what I could see.

Update - My flight is delayed by 1/2 hr and that cuts it a little too close for comfort for my connection in Calgary. There's not much I can do about that 🤷🏻‍♀️ and in reality i'm not too worried about missing connections on the way home.

3.jpg

The flight was uneventful. I love the exit row and snag it every chance I get. That extra room is a must for flights over 3 hrs. Got off the plane and hustled my butt to make my connecting flight home. I made it to my gate just as they had started boarding. Completely exhausted from the 107342.5 mile walk from arrival gate to departure gate but I made it and that’s what’s important. Sat next to a lovely older couple on their way home from a trip to Mexico and had great conversation which made the flight fly by. Love that.

Landed!!! It's 1AM and the airline demolished my suitcase FML! so I had to drag it over to the info desk to file a claim. The Westjet agent was helpful enough but in reality everything is done online. All I know is that they will be replacing it for sure as it is not fixable. It’s not an expensive brand but it is part of a set so I’m bummed that I will have mismatched luggage now but it’s rare that I take more than one wheeled suitcase anyway.

6.jpg

The winter storm I arrived to is currently freezing rain with snow coming in the next few hours yuk! Thankfully my daughter brought my long coat so I used it like an umbrella as we ran to the car with my janky suitcase being dragged along through the snow and ice rain behind us. I’m sure that was a hilarious sight to see.

Home Sweet Home!!

Random Thoughts:

  • I will definitely take a solo trip again, as I really truly loved so much of this one, and I have so many fantastic memories from this trip but I do not believe I would do the MVMCP again as a solo ( that probably includes Halloween parties as well). Jollywood for sure as it was a much more mature crowd and I had an absolute blast.
With MVMCP I found it overwhelmingly crowded and because it is so much more kid oriented I really felt more uncomfortable as compared to Jollywood. I still had some fun, but if I could go back in time I wouldn’t bother with MVMCP and would just enjoy a different park that day.

  • The People! Wow!!!! I totally understand and appreciate that there are many different cultures and upbringings and I am all for diversity of all types as that is what makes the world interesting, BUT the lack of manners and to be blunt, basic personal hygiene that I witnessed was appalling!
    • So many people standing in large lines just freely coughing with zero coverage or concern for those around them. The one thing i had hoped for after the whole Covid debacle was that people would be more mindful when ill and in public. Sadly not the case.
    • People spitting! Like WHAT!! Why is that a thing? In lines, while walking, just horking up a lung! I was kind of shocked to see spitting and so much of it 🤢
    • Entitlement. All the Karen videos i've seen on Tiktok are real lol. CM’s repeatedly ask people to move all the way over to make room for others and being ignored, line jumping (so much line jumping), Elderly people standing on full busses (yes i gave up my seat on more than one occasion to elderly as well as to a mother with her infant).
    • Lack of attentive parenting!! So many parents were just letting their kids go wild while they were distracted on their phone. Twice I saw a child come so close to injury due to zero supervision. 😡
Carrying on with people…because i don't want you all to think I thought it was all bad... I have met some of the kindest and friendliest people out there.
  • I had families invite me to join their groups for rides
  • Offering to share tables and having wonderful conversation.
  • Friendly people on transportation, in lines, just so many really good folks out there.
  • I have met some fabulously interesting people that made my solo adventure so much fun.
Overall I was so worried that I would be lonely or shy or homesick. That I would become sad and regret the decision but I am so glad that I stepped out of my comfort zone. Spending time solo was a great way to not only do all the things I wanted to do at my own pace but also a fantastic opportunity to learn to enjoy my own company. After this I have learned that I am great company lol

Thanks so much to everyone who encouraged me along the planning process as well as all who followed along here as I shared my experience. I will not be back to the USA for a few years 😭 , partly due to the political tension with Canada and the USA but mostly because I am saving for my next adventure which will be to Hong Kong Disney or Shanghai Disney or BOTH! I will happily fill my Disney void following along with all the trip reports here and living vicariously through you all!

Much Love,

Dena

Wow - nothing like a "fun" travel day to end your adventures. Sorry about your suitcase. I had Southwest completely rip off a front pocket from a brand new suitcase one time. And of course, it was part of a brand new set. The funny thing, the next time I traveled with that suitcase, the crew member checking me in made a comment about the damage because they didn't want to get blamed for it I guess. I said "Well you all did that the last time I flew so no matter how you look at it, it's your fault." They just laughed and said something about flying being hard on people and luggage. You are not wrong.

I'm glad you ended up enjoying your solo trip. And I'm said you won't be back for a few years. I was hoping maybe one of our solo trips would over lap. But also - yeah - if I wasn't from the US, I don't know if I would travel here for a bit. I hope you all are surviving this weather. We've had 2 winter storms and now unusual extreme cold temperatures. Yikes!

Wow - nothing like a "fun" travel day to end your adventures. Sorry about your suitcase. I had Southwest completely rip off a front pocket from a brand new suitcase one time. And of course, it was part of a brand new set. This is the 3rd suitcase that airlines have damaged so I deeply feel the flying is hard on people and luggage thing lol.

It really would have been great to be going again sooner and an overlapping trip would be amazing. ❤️ I should have added that the dismal exchange also plays a big part, my money is worth more at other Disney property for sure so while I wait out the political tension I will focus on there. 🤞🏼

We are just coming off a cold one..

Our weather is wild, feels like -48 (-54F) one day and it is set to feel like -15 (F) the next 🤦🏻‍♀️
Still not sure why I stay living where the air genuinely hurts my face.
