I am not sure if anyone posted these yet but I finally found free no sew tutu instructions. I have not tried it yet but it seems really easy. If anyone wants these please email for the link as I do not want to get in trouble.

I also made my first set of boutique bows tonight to match DDs safari outfit (made by castle creations) and I am so happy. i have no idea when I will get pics up due to my pc camera problem that is ongoing. i have so much to post that when I do I will give you all overload. i have the altered walmart dress and coordinating outfit for DS and altered camo overalls from kmart for both DD and DS---I turned DDs into a dress. I also made my first fringe braclet that matches an outfit i have for MGM. This tread and obsession are taking over my life! Because I made the braclet and bows poor DH had tomake dinner after he got home from work because i lost track of time. thank goodness he loves Disney and understands my obession (kinda)

Could you PM me the instructions?
Thank You,
Miranda

It looks like I may have to start over with the shirts for the Wiggles Live outfits. :sad1: My mom took the shirt that I had finished appliqueing and she was going to put the zipper in for me. There's been alot of drama between us lately and I posted about it on the CB. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1503159

In a nutshell, my mom has allowed my younger sister to disrespect our home, and when we said something to her about it, my mom then continued to disrespect me by lying, and even worse she disrespected my DD14 with her lies.

I'm not about to ask her for the shirt back. I'd rather just start over with a new one. :guilty:

I read your other thread and posted, but I think this is a really sad situation. I'm all for family and when you have someone that doesn't respect that, it hurts everyone.

Anyway, I agree with CastleCreations... sneak in and steal the Wiggles shirt!!! You worked too hard on it to let it go!

Mono~rail more than likely your sister will have stolen it from your mum...and your mum will lie for her again (maybe another lie detector test is needed haha) :confused3 . Sod her, make another 1 and I hope you all have fun at the wiggles :woohoo:

Need help with this. I would like to make something simular to Tinks "It's a Small World" outfit multiple pages back. But i don't have any coordinating fabric. I love the colors and the sayings, and would appreciate any help or ideas. I have searched under Robert Kaufman fabrics (that's the designer) and the title of the fabric is "cute to boot 2" but no luck. Anyone seen anything like it? Any ideas? Would love some help!

Hi all. I love all the work you girls are doing. We are from Australia and are travelling to WDW October 6th to 18th. I have a DD 5. My question is what will the weather be like then. I really like the outfits that have been made with the 3/4 capris denim pants and the matching patch work top with dots and flowers on it (sorry not sure how to post photos of them) it is under girl Minnie n Mickey n dots outfits and is photo number 100 0564. But don't know if they will be ok at that time of the year. Any information on what you think would be great, then I will try and find the fabric down under and beg my mum to start making for us. Thanks in advance for any help

Hello, where in Oz are you. I lived in sydney for many years. In october you could have a short sleeve tshirt and capri pants and that should be fine. bring a sewater for the nights though. sometimes it can get chilly!
It is cold in australia right now. brrr

HI!! I've been reading this thread everyday and I am learning so much. I have been buying fabric and got out the sewing machine. I'm making my kiddos clothes for tomorrow. I'm making DD a pillowcase dress from american flag fabric. I was thinking I would applique a tie out of the same fabric onto a t-shirt for DS. Does anyone know where I can find a pattern of a tie shape?

You all inspire me so much!!! I am very much a beginner and I hope one day I can make the kind of outfits I've been seeing on this thread!!! They are great!!:flower1:

There is a fabric store in Evanston, IL called Vogue Fabrics. They have an amazing selection of fabrics. If you email them the photo that you posted they will check to see if they have it. The store is about an hour away from me or I'd check for you myself. Their website is http://www.voguefabricstore.com

I'll also keep my eyes open at my usual haunts, although I think I would have noticed that fabric had I seen it. It's fantastic!

Good luck!

trace one of your hubbies ties. and then copy the shape just a little smaller. that may work

Here's an outline of a tie shape - don't know if you can size it up large enough to help - I'd think it would work.

Ok so hubby gave me $30 plus shipping to spend on a custom outfit. I want something with mickey or minnie but am not finding anything on ebay. Does anyone want to help me out orhave ideas of where I can look?

TIA

Or try family fun . com, I think that is it. The magazine disney puts out. Look under father's day, they always have a picture of the tie cake, you could use that template.

You mean for yourself, right? Is there a local seamstress who would make a top for you out of fabric that you select? Honestly, $30 is going to limit your choices somewhat on custom work.

Do you like the Mickey Waikiki line? Those dresses are often on ebay. I've always thought it would be cute to modify one of those into a tunic length top.

I'd be happy to work with you on something simple, but I can't do applique.

Search ebay for "small world boutique". I just saw an outfit (t-shirt and jean capris) made with this. They had some really cute faces with it.

staying at 30 may be hard... what size do you need?

If you search for this on ebay

CUSTOM MINNIE KERCHIEF DRESS

Its at 19.99 right now..

you have to type in all different searched.. custom disney, custom mickey, boutique

its like solving a mystery.. I see jojo listed as circus girl and handy manny as handy man lol so its like hide and seek.

I finally got pictures taken. I didn't really like the Ariel fabric I had to go with this Nemo fabric since the one I have is mostly purple with "Watch me Sparkle" on it for Ariel.

However, I had other Ariel stuff that we did like together, just some ideas. I really have no clue what I'm going to do yet but DD thought they went together, too. I hope it helps others with ideas.

A t-shirt twirl dress would be easy to do if you want to do it yourself. This link will give you an idea of something you could make. They are very easy to do and super comfy.

Oh THANKS!!

I will look into that. Isn't this fabric just awesome!?!? I like it even more than the faces and flags fabric everyone was working on for a while (even though I bought those materials yesterday too:thumbsup2 ) I am so hoping there is a kiddie face or kids fabric that matches all of those different sayings!
