**July 2025 Check-in Thread!**

My dear adopted granddaughter and I will be there July 5 - 8. This is my first July I think in over fifty years. I'm excited and we are staying at the Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance which is new to me and I am hoping she will like the water park area in the hot afternoons and the short walk to the park.
Are they still requiring reservations for their waterpark area?

first July in over 50 years! Wow, well this one seems like a really really good one! Countdown is on!

I think so too. Gosh, I had no idea about reservations. That's good to know--I am going to check into it.

I'm so glad you mentioned this. I just checked and they are ending their reservations but are limiting access to the waterpark area which includes all pools. So now I am not sure I want to stay there in July if we took a midday break and couldn't get in the water.

Oh ya! That would be so disappointing for the kiddos! I wonder why they would be limiting access during the summer months? Did they say?

Pools and waterpark area are fully open this summer. They will only limit access when the area reaches capacity. I've asked how they are figuring this or if there are time limits to being in the area, but haven't heard back

Several announcements today. Stitch Dance party in Tomorrowland. New show at Disney Jr. Rex meet and greet. Pixar interactive event at FL theater from last summer (which was really good).

I know it's small stuff but I think DL deserves credit for spending money on some entertainment after cutting so much. I also really like that they are investing in entertainment for young kids and families. Even if most people won't experience these things, it's still overall good for the parks and gives people more things to do other than wait in line for rides.

I agree. I thought the Pixar dance party in the Fantasyland theater was a great way for little ones to meet the characters in a friendly, interactive way.

Does anyone know if they sell park balloons in Downtown Disney?

We're hoping to get our kids a balloon on our first day when we're not going into the parks to maximize the time before flying home.
