Is there no more (good) tuna sandwich?😢

Is there no good tuna sandwich anywhere in the World? I was a longtime fan of the CHH Anchors Away sandwich- RIP. February 2024 I had a good one at Roaring Fork (because of DisBoards recommendations) but it doesn’t seem to be on the menu anymore. I have simple tastes- just tuna on decent bread (multi grain is nice), lettuce and tomato. Bonus points for decent chips and/or pickles.

I also loved CHH Anchors Away sandwich. Now I usually get the Tuna Melt at Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs. Maybe you can ask them to add lettuce and tomato?

CHH was one of my favorite place to eat, but sure miss Anchors Away too. Loved it, and seemed like a great alternative to a lot of their other deep fried choices.

Tuna Melt at Earl/Sandwich is something I get on almost every trip. It's one of my favorites, and a go-to.

My favorite was the one at Old Key West counter-serve, Good's to Go? Last time I had it was a year ago, but it's still on the menu. However, although we could mobile order there a year ago, currently it's not listed as a mobile order establishment. Is that new?

Earl’s tuna melt is good to know about. That’s a regular stop for me but I’ve never had that particular sandwich.

And the OKW sandwich sounds perfect (even has a pickle!) but pretty far out of my normal way. Is it worth it…..

Can’t speak of Tuna sandwich’s at Disney but earl of sandwich has become noticeable smaller from last year, not that they are bad just smaller. Disney seems it have not changed size from last year so may be worth your while to go to OKW. Sorry the cannonballs take precedent over all just enjoy the break for a lunch but I may pass next year.

I too have shed a tear over the CHH removed tuna yummy sandwich. However, sounds funny, but the tuna on multigrain, out of the to go refrigerator, is really good !! Thank you Roaring Forks Take it outside for a pretty patio setting there at Wilderness Lodge.
