If you own a 2042 resort, what do you plan to do when it expires?

I will cry when our HHI contracts expire. It is truly our home away from home, and we plan to use our contracts all the way until the end. We will be in our early 70s, and if we still feel comfortable driving long distances, we will continue visiting HHI, but we will have to find another resort. I doubt it will feel the same though. We also have an AKV contract. In 2042, if we don't continue driving to HHI, we will use our AKV points at WDW which is easier to travel to as we can fly to MCO and use ground transportation. Or we may sell AKV and try to recoup some of our money. Either way, we will not buy more points once HHI expires.

Yes, I can’t remember the exact wording but it means our DD will have full ownership and won't have to go through probate in Florida. So she can keep it or sell it, as she wishes.
Can you use a Lady Bird deed for a FL timeshare?

I have no idea. We trusted LT Transfers, https://www.lttransfers.com/, to handle everything for us. They used a Quit Claim deed, held by us and our DD as Joint Tenants with Right of Survivorship.

Edited to add, it cost us $260.70 per deed, including filing and mailing fees. We thought that was well worth it!

My (non Florida) lawyer was trying to say this was better than putting the timeshare in a trust. I don’t know much about either option though. Google tells me it’s the same as a Transfer on Death Deed, which I was more familiar with. Could be good, if allowed.
