Make sure you can get enough vans at the time you need because if I am right you can not book before you need. So you will need time to make it there another way. Other than Minnie Vans any other ride share will mean a bus ride thru the campground

We've done Minnie Van to/from Hoop Dee Doo. They drop right near Pioneer Hall. If you request the vans on the earlier side, you'll have better luck getting more than one.

For going back after the show, you might have to wait a bit, but it shouldn't be too long. We've never had an issue getting one back to the resort.

This is what we did from AKL. Worked like a charm. Very convenient.
Afterwards we took the boat to MK for a few hours and then bussed back to the resort.

You didnt mention when u are going so may not matter. Ive seen so many reviews saying minnie vans can be hard to come by. That plus having a large group, seem like a bus then lovely boat ride sounds easier.
