Any holiday stocking stuffer gift ideas out there that could be purchased in bulk? I need to get presents valued at about 10.00 each for everyone in the company (about 100 people). We’ve already gotten warm fuzzy socks, throw blanket and candy. I’d like to stay away from gift cards, but it’s the only thing coming to mind right now.

Everyone poo poos GC, but when you're trying to satisfy multiple people, they're really the best option.

I don't do fuzzy socks, have enough throw blankets to wrap the house in, and candy's not good in case someone is diabetic. One year my company gave out umbrellas and acted like it was the best things since sliced bread. Everyone that uses an umbrella already has one and any logo you put on it is free advertising.

GC can be gotten for area gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers, to say nothing about Amazon or simple Visa/Mastercard GC.

You could even reach out to area businesses and see if they'll give you bonus money for buy GC in bulk. Maybe they'll throw in $5 on each GC.

If you want a product, just my opinion, but $10 doesn't lead to decent quality.

Of course, you're also running out of time to get anything.

Yeah I would prefer a gift card too.

One year our work place gave everyone a soft cooler with 12 beers in it. I don’t drink beer but it was a hit for some that’s for sure…lol

Ice Scraper for windshields
Lottery Tickets
Aromatherapy Shower Steamers
Keyboard Cleaning Gel
Mad Libs
Multitool
High Lumens Flashlight
Table top game (There are lots of options for $10 or less)

Hands down the favorite gift among our team was a "coupon" to leave work early on a pre-planned day. They were paid and were not required to use any vacation or PTO.

Hire a masseuse to be in the office for a couple of days for a 15-minute neck rub

I just recent bought 4 packs (all individually wrapped within the packs) of these-

$12.99 (plus tax) on amazon. I used them as individual stocking stuffers last year and snagged some more for our new car. for $10 budget you could give a driver side/passenger side to each person and still be under budget (a friend was only able to be rescued from a car accident b/c she had one within reach when she was in her totaled car awaiting emergency response-very handy to have).

We live in So Fla where there are lots of canals, every one of our cars has one and all my kids have been instructed on how to use it in an emergency. This is a great gift.

If not gift cards, I’d give food or something consumable. A box of chocolates or fancy cookies, hot cocoa mix, samples of barbecue sauces, tin of popcorn (my family loves the ones with three varieties), liquid hand soap or lotion in a pump dispenser, etc. Unwanted food items can always be re-gifted or donated to a nursing home, hospital (for the staff) or firehouse. Lottery tickets. In an office setting where people have desks or a dedicated workspace, the small square calendars that you rip off a page a day, with a general theme like funny cartoons, or joke or quote of the day.

Ornaments, key chains, photo frames for their desks. Mini retro toys (Magic 8-ball, Rubik's cube, etc.) can be a cute idea if your employees are the right age to remember them.

Be careful about gift cards. My husband’s company prohibits gift cards to be purchased as employee holiday gifts because it can be considered taxable income if the purchaser expenses the cards and the purchase is run through accounting. I guess if they are purchased off the books somehow it would be ok.

Since some employers can't do gift cards (considered taxable income) or lottery tickets (prohibited games of chance) I'd go with quality food items over blanket and socks. My dad worked for UPS for 30 years, and they gave hams or turkeys for Christmas. It was great! If your limit is only $10 perhaps look for a local jam/jelly vendor that is known to be good. Or a local chocolate company that can make a gift that is pleasing to a wide variety and an alternative to chocolate.

I work in education, and we receive a beverage vessel of some sort or a sweatshirt branded with the school name. Occasionally as an appreciation gift, we get a small container of popcorn from a local vendor in a flavor that you question the taste buds of the person who ordered :rolleyes2

Are movie tickets considered "gift cards"? If not, I'd buy everyone a movie ticket (or movie ticket package which comes with snacks) for the theater chain in town.

And if the grocery gift card is not allowed, I'd work with the store to see if I could "prebuy" one main protein for the holiday meal, redeemable for a beef, ham, turkey, mac and cheese tray, or vegan option (pick 2-3 of these options). Options means everyone can eat it, and a prebought coupon is probably not considered a gift card, either. Barring the protein not being able to be switched, I'd buy a redeemable fruit or veg tray.
