I Wonder if Disney Will Get Mad if We Disassemble the Furniture. Sept/Oct 2024 TR! (Updated 3/12!)

Your food from France looks very good. Your swim also sounds delightful.
Yeah, France had some really good food this year!
However, good grief with those people next door! I'm glad they quieted down, but they should've known better than to be loud after 10:00pm in a hotel room. I realize that connecting rooms are less common these days (I've tried to book them at non-Disney hotels and they're surprisingly hard to find!), but the adults should've called the front desk rather than body slam the door. :sad2:
Oh I know, it was crazy! I'm just glad they stopped trying to get into our room and quieted down after I banged on the door!

Day 8, Part 1: Instant Karma!

We got up pretty early this morning, around 5:45. We showered and got ready, and around 6:20 I took a look at the next bus arrival time in the app and saw that one was arriving at 6:27.

So we hustled to finish getting ready before heading downstairs. We lucked out and saw the bus was waiting when we got there (thank goodness our room was right next to the elevators!).

We hopped on, and the bus left soon after, we had the bus to ourselves, until of course we swung by the BC where we picked up a ton of people.

We then made our way over to the Animal Kingdom!

We arrived at 6:50, but security wasn’t open yet, so we got in the long line to wait.

Security opened right at 7 and we made it through and over to the tapstiles to wait some more. Early entry was at 7:30 this morning, but they let us in at 7:15.

While most people rushed off to do rides, we took our time wandering in taking pictures!

After getting a bunch of pictures we made our way over to the entrance to Asia where they were holding people until opening. There were only two other families there, so we just stood off to the side since there was clearly not going to be any big rush.

Not many other people showed up during that time, so we just stayed off to the side since clearly we’d be some of the first to get on Everest due to the lack of people waiting here so we didn’t feel the need to crowd the entrance of the land.

On the other hand, while waiting, these two teens showed up and pushed their way in front of the families who had been there waiting for a while already. But karma was quick this morning, since a CM saw this happen, so when the land opened, he walked us all back to Everest, and while the two teens sprinted through the queue once we arrived, the families they cut were escorted through the rides exit to be the first ones on the ride!

We got to the load station shortly after the teens and they were so mad that the families they cut were already on the train and had taken the back rows! HA!!!!!! So they begrudgingly took seats in the middle, and we decided to grab the front row since we could pick our seats. Love instant karma!

After the first ride, my mom had had enough, but I wanted to go again, so she went over to the overlook to watch me come down and I headed back through the queue.

Since there was still practically no one there, I once again got to select my car.

This time my mom got a video of me coming down the hill! She has tried this before, but always ended up filming the wrong train, so it was great she finally got the right one! I’m the one with my arms in the air!

Once I finished my second ride, it was just about time for our LL for the Safari so we headed over there. Of course we took pictures on the way!

Next up: All the Rides!

Huzzah for the instant karma! I like it when the CMs do something about the line jumpers and overly pushy people

AK is absolutely stunning in the early morning and dusk hours. My favorite! Nice shots on Everest
