Hi everyone!!

I have been lurking for about a month now while planning my daughters wish trip and have gotten most of my questions answered while reading the board. I have been changing our dinner/breakfast reservations countless times and now finally have it nailed down (maybe ;)). I just need some help with a question I have yet to find.

We have breakfast reservations at Cape May Cafe on the 29th of April at 7:55am. We will have a rental car, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about this since we plan on going to Epcot right after breakfast. Can we park at Epcot and walk to BC? Epcot does not open until 9 that day...or do we have to drive to the BC then drive to Epcot after breakfast?

I have to say you guys have so much knowledge and even though I don't post much (or at all) I just want to say Thank you to everyone out there. I have learned SO much!!

Can we park at Epcot and walk to BC?

Not before the park opens.

There are a couple of things you can do. Park at the Beach Club and move your car to Epcot after breakfast if they give you a 3 hour parking pass. Park at Hollywood Studios and walk or take the boat to BC. But you cannot get access through Epcot until after the park has opened, and there's no other way from the front of Epcot to the Epcot resort area.

You could also leave your car at Epcot's main gate and take a cab over to BC. You can get a cab over where the bus stops are.

Do you have a coordinator for your wish trip? You may also want to consult them.

I would park at beach club and then move my car to epcot after breakfast. It really is very close of a drive from the beach club to the entrance to epcot.

Yes we do, but we are just given a lump sum of money to do what we wish with it. They just set everything up at Give Kids the World and they supply us with the tickets and the rest of the planning is up to us.

It looks like we will just park at Beach Club and then drive over to Epcot. Do we have to pay to park at the resort?

Self-parking is free. Unless you have a handicap permit, you have to pay to valet. Usually if you valet, they don't do the 3 hour permit.

Valet is $12 (or free if you have handicap placard). Even at $12 for the day, it may be worth the price. You could have b-fast and then just walk over to Epcot at a uncrowded turnstile via the International Gateway. It will certainly save some time and hassle.

we always valet park when we're eating at the Epcot resorts...$12 to park for as long as you want (and $2 tip when you get your car) You can valet park at 7:30 or 7:45 in the morning for your breakfast ADR, and come back at 10:00 PM after watching Illuminations, no problem. You're dropping the car off with the valet right near the main lobby door, so then you just walk into lobby and go over to the right to get to Cape May. Well worth it. Saves a lot of hassle & time moving the car from there to Epcot lot. And when you're ready to go home, chances you're going to be in the World Showcase end anyway, especially if you stay for Illuminations...you can walk back to Beach Club from Epcot. Or even more relaxing, take the Boat from Epcot boat dock to Beach Club (very nice when the feet are screaming after a long day at Epcot), then you walk through the lobby of the hotel to the car valet counter just outside the front doors, hand the valet your ticket and sit down on the bench there & relax while they go get your car & pull up right in front of you with the air conditioning turned on all ready for you. Then you drive out of the resort with NO other traffic around you, no long lines of people trying to get out of the parking lot. BLISS.
