I recently discovered a little trick that I use to take photos without flash and yet with a decent shutter speed to prevent blurring. I simply put my finger over the flash. I took some photos inside the Living Seas that turned out pretty good. And my biggest coup was that I can now take photos of the monitors that have the ride photos (Splash Mountain, Test Track, etc) and you can actually make out who is in the photo.
Silly camera automatically switches to an outrageously slow shutter speed when you turn off the flash. Since it is a fairly simple camera, there are no provisions that I have found to keep a fast shutter speed.
That's my small contribution. Hope it helps someone.
