3 more days! I need to start figuring out what to bring . My tiara, of course, and one for DD. A nice outfit for our special dinner. Possibly some Disneybounding stuff? It's such a quick trip and I'm trying to pack light, but I always seem to find multiple things to add as it gets close.

Getting a room I like at GCH, LOL!

As far as the parks, well...I will leave that up to my DD! She's so excited. She has planned for us to have a "tiki/adventureland" themed day, so I need to see what I've got (that I want to pack). We have a reservation for Club 33 on Sat evening, which she is so thrilled about! I'm perfectly fine with anything she wants to prioritize and we'll have EE or MM or whatever it's called these days and I remembered to plan our starting park accordingly this time, ha ha. Friday I arrive at the airport at 9 am and DD is picking me up (she's driving down from SLO). Sat is DL and Sun DCA for EE. I'll have to ask DD what day we're doing the tiki garb since it would probably be Fri or Sat, though we do have a Trader Sam's res at 3:05 on Sunday. My flight leaves at 7:35 though and I'd rather not have to change out of tiki clothes before we leave, ha ha.

I'm happy with any rides she wants to do, although I'm not sure I'm up for Tiana's unless it's a really warm day! I hate being cold!

And I hope you get a good room location for GCH. I've found the CMs seem to try to accommodate the best they can, so I'm sure it'll work out -- especially since it sounds like you are arriving fairly early

Oh, I've got the tiaras laid out, don't worry! We'll probably wear those to the Club

DD let me know that she'd like to make our first day the Tiki/AL day, and as of right now it's supposed to be rather chilly and rainy so I'm going with the Adventureland side of things. I'll be wearing most of it on the plane so I'm trying to hold my love of theatrics in check. As of now I'm planning on dark khaki green ankle pants and a beige cargo jacket with khaki green shoulder bag. And pull on boots. Not sure about the shirt yet. I have a fun hat but it's, well, perhaps just a bit too much on the costume side as I wore it last year for Adventureland Day. It's kind of an Indy type hat. I replaced the hatband with a snake I made out of an old braided leather belt (fake leather). I poked 2 red-headed sewing pins into the tab of the belt for eyes. I also added some jungle greenery, so as you can see, it's not really a discreet nod to the theme and I think I might get some funny looks from my fellow flyers, especially the one(s) who gets to sit next to me.

I don't know what the current theme is at the Club, but I'll let you know! I would love it to be IJ. Last time I was there it was during the holidays so it was decorated for that.

edited to add: speaking of tiaras, did I show you my driver's license pic? They've let me do this twice Now I'm more wrinkly and my hair is grayer and I don't wear glasses (cataract surgery, ha ha) so I probably ought to get a new pic one of these days.

218 days. This is the first time since we got together my husband doesn't have to work on his birthday and so we are going the week of Thanksgiving. I know it'll be crazy but we're just happy to be going back!
