Thanks for the update. I was surprised that this would have changed so soon.Just back - this is incorrect. Tap in-tap out works exactly as demonstrated in the videos.

And now that I'm back - to answer my original question . . .Thanks for the update. I was surprised that this would have changed so soon.
Do you mind pointing to the video you mentioned and around what time in the video they talk about this?Just back - this is incorrect. Tap in-tap out works exactly as demonstrated in the videos.
Look at any of the the Lightning Lane Strategy videos or the 27 Tips and Tricks from the last several months (either the general ones or park specific ones). He pretty much covers this in all of them.Earscouts has the videos.
ok, it's like 24 minutes into this 45 minute video.Do you mind pointing to the video you mentioned and around what time in the video they talk about this?
Please report back because April is on our radar for future. ThanksAnd now that I'm back - to answer my original question . . .
It works decently. Not as easy as before - but I suspect that's because with everyone able to hold 3 reservations, there's just not as much inventory. I was still able to do everything I wanted. But definitely not quite as easy to move times up as much as with Genie+ - still OK - just a bit more hit or miss.
The biggest difference I saw was that because the popular rides are often gone much earlier in the day, it was much harder to get them by refresh because with refresh you're still likely to have someone get it before you. The tap in tap out only works if you're able to at least book it initially. So while I'd see times pop up every minute or so - 75% or more of the time it's not there by the time you click through because you have to go through the party selection screen and then confirm.
Heading back again mid-April during a big vacation week and we'll see how much worse it is with crowds I'd assume a bit more than I saw this week.
A few glitches I'd like to see them work out to make this better. First - while it shows you your preferences at the top of the list when booking initially, it doesn't list them when trying to modify which makes it that much harder since you have to scroll down. Second - when you refresh a modification, it jumps back either to your reserved park or MK by default (can't remember which). Minor things in the long run but since one second literally can make a difference whether you can confirm the time before someone gets it - annoying.
It doesn't get discussed much here, but there are still reports that additional LLMPs are dropped at specific times throughout the day on certain attractions. Did you see any of this? And now that I'm back - to answer my original question . . .

Not really. My past experience has been that it's not really specific times every day but they vary day to day and ride to ride - I'd suspect there is not a set time to drop FP at certain times (other that perhaps some rare exceptions such as at opening) but that due to the fact that people's activity patterns don't vary tremendously, you tend to see the algorithm acting similarly on many days. And even if they were - it would never have been worth my effort to try to time getting a pass at a certain time as you're constantly going through passes. I was on a 2-day solo trip and did 3 parks each day so went through a lot of passes. It doesn't get discussed much here, but there are still reports that additional LLMPs are dropped at specific times throughout the day on certain attractions. book the whole thing on that first day.So I question on booking when staying at Disney.........I get the 7-day pre-booking window, but is that for the ENTIRE trip???
What I mean is we are staying 10-days, so at 7 days before our first day we can book the entire 10-days of LLMP--or do we have to book on each consecutive day?
You don't need to book for all 10 days, you might only want MK and HS for 2 or 3 days and no LLMP and/or LLSP for the other days of your visit. As @leebee commented you should book as early as possible to have largest pool of available LLMP and/or LLSP begining at 7 AM EDT using the MDE app begining 7 days before your on-site resort arrival day. What I mean is we are staying 10-days, so at 7 days before our first day we can book the entire 10-days of LLMP--or do we have to book on each consecutive day?
This is subsequent to my trip which was subsequent to your post. It's possible that they pushed it out slowly so it wasn't hitting everyone's accounts at once or were testing it on some accounts but when I was there right before I posted - it was not operating the way it appears in his video and was operating exactly how it was in his prior videos. Sounds like it's now a wider rollout.
I probably phrased that wrong.......what I meant is I will be able to book starting on 4/23---but does that open the ENTIRE trip window to be able to book? Or do I have to get back on each consecutive day at 7-days out?You don't need to book for all 10 days, you might only want MK and HS for 2 or 3 days and no LLMP and/or LLSP for the other days of your visit. However you don't book the whole thing. Each transaction is completed on a day by day basis might include your LLMP with 3 selected attraction return times in the same park and also up to 2 LLSP purchases per day. You are able to include your day's LLMP and/or LLSP in a single purchase if all of your travel group will be using the same selections.
Many groups split the LLMP from the LLSP as often the LLSP selections tend to be for a subset of the entire party.

Since you are staying onsite and for only ten days (different answer if trip longer than fourteen days), you can book all your LLMPs/LLSPs/LLPPs (all ten days) on April 23, starting at 7:00 AM Eastern time. (I'm assuming April 30 is also your hotel check-in day. If you check into your hotel earlier, it's seven days before that date.)I probably phrased that wrong.......what I meant is I will be able to book starting on 4/23---but does that open the ENTIRE trip window to be able to book? Or do I have to get back on each consecutive day at 7-days out?
Meaning:
4/30 First day at Parks--can start booking on 4/23
5/1 Second day at Park--can I book on that 4/23 date, or do I have to wait until 4/24 (and so on for each consecutive day)?
