Anyone know the best place to get them? I have looked online and the official website seems to have the lowest prices. I was wondering if any locals know of stores or anything nearby that sell them. TIA!

Often times Kroger and Marsh grocery stores offer them at a discount and I know Taco Bell/KFC/Burger King offer discount coupons for free where you get so much off per admission on certain dates/months.

Thank you! Do you have any idea how much of a discount they offer? I'm trying to decide where to get the deeper discount.

My parents got little coupons (probably at the fast food restaurants mentioned), but they are not good on Saturdays. The discount also decreases as summer progresses. It was like $20 off for May, $10 off for June and $5 off for July or something.

We've also heard that ANY Pepsi product gets a discount, don't know how much.

Let me know what you find. We're headed there this weekend and if I need to buy online and do will call, I will.

How odd! I am going to Holiday World for the first time tomorrow! We bought our tickets through a TV station promo (www.wkrn.com). We were able to get the tickets for 1/2 off ($20 pp). The only bad thing is we had to buy a 4 pack of tickets and only need two. I hope we like it tomorrow because we will be going again later this summer!:lmao:

Check your local stations to see if they have any for sale. Also, the Holiday World website has some ways to get discounts, but it is only a few dollars off the price of admission.

Thanks for the info, but they're all gone :sad2: But I'll keep that in mind if we go again.

Do you know any government employees or military who could get them at MWR? We bought ours there for $28 each, we go every year and thats the best price I have seen.

We stayed at the RV park, and their discount was about $6 off a ticket. If you bring a Bunny Bread wrapper, you can get $5 off a ticket(and the wrapper does not have to have anything about Holiday World on it.). I would also check your local AAA office just in case. Have fun!!!! We love it there!!!

This will be our first time also. I had been looking into prices a few weeks ago and decided that we couldn't afford to do it at this time. (We are a family of 5) Then I won 2 tickets on our local radio station! So, only having to come up with 3 more tickets make it a little more affordable.

I googled all of the places mentioned above and Marsh's has the cheapest so far. They are $32.95 each. I believe if you preorder on the Holiday World website they are $35.95. The Pepsi can or Bunny bread promotion knocks $2 off the admission in July. Making the price $37.95. Thanks everyone, I'm going to keep checking. We are planning to go on July 19, so I have a little more time.

I might also mention that Santa's Candy Castle claims to have the cheapest prices online.....Well, they do. A big whoopin penny! $35.94. :rotfl:

I've looked at the menus and they do look very reasonable. How about the taste though? We are pretty excited about the free drinks! Heck, that's usually the biggest part of our expense when we go somewhere like that.

I have been teasing DH who is not a coaster fan at all, that he will be able to ride most everything here since it's geared to younger kids. :lmao: He doesn't find it quite as amusing though. *snicker*

DD7 will love it. DD16 and DD14 are excited about the water park. They are a little disappointed that there aren't more thrill type rides for them, but the water park will more than make up for it.

We just came home about an hour ago. We had a great time! The park is very clean and well themed. Since my oldest DD is only two we mainly did kiddie rides and shows. We didn't even venture to the waterpark because our DDs are so young. We ate at Kringla's Cafe. The food was actually really tasty. We also had ice cream later which was yummy and inexpensive to boot. I also love the free drink set up!

My parents have friends who are grandparents go there and they did this--Grandma has GS at the waterpark (he's under 2, I think) while all the "big kids" rode rides. My mom clocked that in right away and I think is planning on doing the same. I guess there is a nice zero depth area for toddlers. Though I know DH will have trouble leaving her there. But that's why we're taking the grandparents!

The food at Holiday World is awesome!

I love the taco salad at the Alamo! It's only about $5 and its big enough to share.

Oh, and the ice cream at Udderly Blue! the red and blue swirl is soooo good. :lovestruc

Well, we are about to head out for Holiday world. Would you believe that I won 2 more tickets???!!!?? I ended up buying my extra needed tickets from the Holiday World website. They were the cheapest other than Marsh's. I didn't know where the nearest one was so I decided to go on and buy them. I'm taking my mom and DD16's boyfriend with the extra tickets. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Thanks to everyone for the helpful suggestions.

If you can, go to Splashin' Safari in the morning and Holiday World in the afternoon.

Most people do the opposite and the lines for the water slides get really long in the afternoon. We always hit the big slides first, then do the wave pool, jungle racers, congo river, and smaller slides.

We will generally do the Raven or the Legend before Splashin' Safari, since it opens an hour later than the rest of the park.

Have a great time!

This is exactly how we did it! What a nice park! The Ohio River Valley's best kept secret (even to hotels and restaurant chains).

With a can from a Pepsi product you can save $4 (except for Sat).

The park is great....I like the BBQ Pork or Chicken sandwhich that I've had there.

Can't beat free parking / drinks and the water park is a lot of fun for all ages.

If you look at the attendance numbers, it obvious that the secret is getting out. There was a time when standing in line for more than 5 minutes was unheard of. I kind of miss that, but I'm also glad that more people are discovering what a great park it is.
