My 64 yo husband and I (62) will be visiting early May. Staying off site. Want to do one day at Universal Studio or IOA or maybe both. Been years since we have been there. Will splurge on the extra tix to get front of line privileges. How far ahead do I have to buy my tix? Would like to wait so I can see weather reports for when we are there.

I don't think it matters much as far as when you buy your tickets, but the Express Passes do increase in price as the date of your visit approaches. And the EP can sell out but I would not be worried about that in early May.

If you stay at the deluxe resorts your stay comes with unlimited express passes and you can stay 1 night and get to use that pass for both check in and check out day. We are doing this for our trip.
