Gordon had a little crush on Elsie?

he really gushed over her when he let her go.

I'm not a fan of Jessica AT ALL...she has this scowl on her face all the time...the chick needs to lighten up/smile more!

I totally agree with everything you said! I thought that Gordon was "pimping" Elsie from day 1, but last night it seemed like he had the hots for her :earseek: The other girl DOES scowl all the time, but I still like her better than Michael.

ok - glad I wasn't the only one! I also remember...when her team won a challenge...he took them out to eat or something...he had to sit next to Elsie. (of course - she was the only female on the team at the time...heheh)

At this point...I say just give the restaurant to Ralph. I think what the 3 of them did last night was horrible. I expected it from Jessica (witch), but not Michael - he seemed like a decent guy. I do foresee a showdown between Michael/Ralph...and even though they are both jerks...I say give it to Ralph.

I'm such a dork...this show totally sucked me in.

Yeah, certainly seemed that way.

I can't dtans any of the remaining 3. Jessica's a female bulldog. Michael is a lying weasel. And that other guy (I forget his name) is a big baby.

That about sums it up! Last night I wanted to throttle Michael when he was telling Elsie that Gordon obviously judged the previous challenge according to what he "expected" from each person's skill level. Can you say "sore loser"?!!!

I have said that from episode ONE! He definitely has a soft spot for Elsie. He has always been so much easier on her than the others. Even in the kitchen during dinner, when she was freaking out, he actually pulled her aside to calm her down. Never did that with anyone else!

I had the feeling that Gordon really wanted Elsie to make it. I think he saw a lot of raw talent in her but was worried that she could handle the pressure of that type of job and a family.

Now.. the other 3. :sad2:

Jessica - I want to smack that lopsided smirk right off of her prickly haired face. Can't stand her. And the other two "men", please.

I can't say I'm rooting for any of them to win now. I had wanted to see Elsie win and show the 2 "we are already Chefs so we are so great" a thing or two.

I thought it was totally unfair the way they acted last night because they were upset that Elsie's soup won. Talk about sour grapes. WAH WAH WAH.

I cannot figure out why Elsie didn't rat them out for being a total jerk to her when she got back. They purposely ignored her requests for help and refused to answer her questions on where things were just to stick her neck out. I'm sure that Gordon either heard about it or saw raw footage before he did the cut. He gave her a chance to put them out there for what they were and she didn't do it. :confused3 Wonder if his decision would have been different if she had told him that they alienated her from the team that night?

Personally, I wouldn't give the darn prize to any of these three losers. Ralph really showed his true colors last night, in my opinion, and Elsie should have made mention of his attitude and the treatment she got when Ramsey asked her about it at the end. Durned if I'd have protected the overbearing jerk (Ralph), the scowling little princess, or the obnoxious psycho.

Maybe they could just donate the restraunt to charity or something. :teeth:

I wanted Elsie to win. Last night's episode showed the other three to be poor losers. From now on, the show will be a let down, because none of the three have the integrity that I would like to see in the winner.

I'm liking Gordon more and more.

I wonder who will go next week.. The previews said we would be shocked to she who goes next. So I am guessing it won't be Jessica becasue that wouldn't shock me..

ok - I hope this doesn't come off as a spoiler - but we've all seen the "previews" for the end where Gordon is saying "you really deserve it".

he's kinda looking straight ahead/downward when he says this.
as if the person he's speaking to is shorter then him.

just saying...

DH has said from day one that Michael is going to win, because if you notice in the opening credits Ramsey looks at each contestant, from left to right, but when it comes to Michael he looks straight ahead. If you notice, that is the only contestant he does NOT look at. I told DH he had watched "The Mole" too much! LOL

I did like Elsie. I felt bad because everyone was witching behind her back, the jealously was awful between the other three last night. Just because she won, especially Ralph, they were so two faced to her. I wonder if some of that is for tv though. ;) Cracks me up when Ralph is throwing dishes around in the sink just because he lost. Didn't he do that last week too? ;)

I would really like to see Jessica win, just because I think the guys are such two faced jerks. But I have a feeling it will get down to those two. Which lesser of the two evils with Ramsey choose? :teeth:

i think after loosing so much I would feel a little bitter too! I can remember ralph or jessica ever winning anything.. Maybe I am wrong

Yeah, what you said! ::yes::

I started watching HK with my DS(18) and I have to say I love it! I think Michael will win. Do you think it will be on again for another season?

We love this show in my house. I was happy that a simple dish like soup won out over the "la-di-da" dishes the other chefs put together!!! I was happy that Elsie won! I had to love how the other chefs were going "I can't believe that soup won!" I laughed b/c one of the chefs said that he's learned you can't go too crazy w/Ramsey b/c he likes things simple. What's more simple than chicken soup? And, Jessica was all mad b/c Elsie didn't use the strawberries. And, when they were all complaining that they created these "extreme dishes" and soup beat them out. Oh, well ... sometimes you never know what Ramsey will like/want. After all, he said Jessica's looked like garbage but tasted good and Michael's looked good but had no taste (and bones).

I was laughing over how babyish they all acted saying "Tonight, let's make soup". Poor losers, if you ask me.

In the end, I think Ralph's going to get the kitchen. However, they did say next week would be a "shocker" ... so maybe Ralph goes home (b/c I think most people are expecting Ralph to win).

I think Elsie has a real raw natural talent that CG really respects. I also think he saw what happened, in that the other 3 really just hung her out to dry last night while Michael and Ralph carried nasty Jessica. If Elsie had called them on it he wouldn't let her stay but I think she'd had enough and CG knew it so he let her go home in the nicest way possible probably as a dig to to the other 3.

Jessica is a nasty witch with very little talent, she's only there because Ralph carried her the whole time. Michael did the same last night but only because she's the weaker competition. I really hope she goes down in flames.

I was hoping CG saw tape of when he was gone and put up Ralph and Michael.. When he was taking about being a team I got so excited, but then he put up the two girls! YUCK

Yep I agree, they all are poor losers, and Elsie deserved to win! Did you hear 2-faced Ralph, after talking about Elsie like a dog, he smiles at her, and says: "Hey Elsie!" :sad2: Made me SICK!

Daxx just caught this last night ... admittedly missed a few episodes, so maybe missed the answer to this question.

Why do they call Jessica "Little" in the kitchen? Is that her last name? Or is it b/c she's smaller than the rest of them?

Daxx noticed this last night and we were wondering.
