Headless Horseman Question

We've been to MNSSHP once several years ago and had the "perfect" spot to see the Headless Horseman. He stopped right in front of us and had the horse rear up. Small thing but it was exciting.

My question is...are there designated spots along the route where he does this?

We were standing in frontierland, between the Hall of Presidents and the "stocks", where the route curves.

he does go slower where the route curves. Another good spot is at the HUB facing the bridge towards Liberty Square, he will often stop briefly there, but anywhere that there's a curve he needs to go slower

He does slow down a lot going over the wooden bridge (didn't rear), which is awesome because then the horse truly gets to clip-clop across it... best spot we've been yet.

We've seen it once and it was awesome! IIRC we were outside the HOP and the horseman got pretty close.

I still remember back in the early 2000s (I want to say 2000 itself but I'm not 100% sure) I went with my sister once. The parade went from the train station area up Main Street towards the Castle and around to the bridge. We sat in the road right at the rope that connected to the far side of the bridge so he came right at us before turning. THAT was amazing!

On our honeymoon in 2005, we had been chosen to be the grand marshall's of the boo to you parade. We were super excited. Got escorted back behind Splash to get ready for the parade and were put in the lead car. I told the CM driver how excited we were yet a little bummed out that we were going to miss seeing the headless horseman. The CM just smiled and looked over my shoulder and nodded. I turned around and the horse was breathing down my neck!

I just kind of shrank back into the seat as the horse loomed right over us before he trotted off onto the parade route. Priceless.

I got to sit on the bridge that goes from liberty square to Main Street ( the VIP sets) they stoped for a good minute right in front of us very cool
