Does anyone know if they still have special rates at the HRH for these card holders?

They do but I'm not sure if the rates are offered during certain seasons only. I could have booked it for my december trip but the AP rate was less. I find I get better info calling Hard Rock directly when asking for rates using their All Access card. Good Luck:)

Was there in June and was told All Access no longer gives discounts but will give free upgrade only IF ONE IS AVAILABLE AT CHECK-IN. Which to say one wasn't when we went so no real hotel benefit when we were there. But had great perk at Hard Rock Cafe. Place booked solid with lines around building. We went to front of line and were seated immediately because of card. People in line hated us!!!!:hyper:

We used ours last Novemebr and were upgraded to a kidsuite:D with club privledges! And also the night before thanksgiving we were in NYC and went to thge Hard Rock Cafe it was a 90 minute wait but we were seated in 5 minutes. Great perks.

How great for everyone. I have gotten past long lines at the cafe before. Well the HR was booked solid during our holiday trip, but this is good info.

MOMTOMOOTOO do you mind telling me what you had booked and at what rate $ and type before you were upgraded?

Thanks everyone.

I was in a deluxe at the Entertainment rate. Didn't get upgrade because hotel full. card mostly good for priority seating at rest. and that you build points for money off future purchases. Not bad price to join considering perks you get with purchase. I got $20 credit, hat, leather key chain, beanie and a pin. Nice looking card too. Disappointed that it is not good for room discounts but at least have a chance at an upgrade.

So what is this All Access card anyway? Is it something you must earn or buy? It sounds like it gives you better priviledges than waving merely your room key.

It is like a "club card" through Hard Rock. You could go to hardrock.com to join or you can join at any Hard Rock cafe. It is $24.95 and a good program if you regulary eat at the Cafe or go to the hotel. It is not good for the hotel in Vegas and certain other restrictions apply. The web site tells you all about it. We joined just for our trip in June and it was worth it for the priority seating alone.

Is the priority seating any different than if you stay on-site - at the HRH and wave that keycard?

I thought so. Guests with room keys were put in another line that was much shorter than regular line while we were escorted into entrance and put in a very short line to be seated. We did stay on site at the hard Rock and showed room key but when we showed All Access card that it is when we were sent to entrance.

I like that! So I just went online to check it out and will join too. Thanks for the info. Hopefully we will get lots of discounts to justify the cost. My sons will like the music on the site you can listen to as members too.
Also, do you know what that Hard Rock Vault is the website talks about as offering a discount too? Is it the gift store?

The Vault is a "tourist attraction" near Universal that houses a lot of memorabilia. You pay admission and tour. It was a really neat building from the outside, but we didn't go in. Just saw it during a drive around the area. Remember to show you card whenever you make a purchase at the hotel,Cafe or gift shop to rack up points. You get a credit for every $200 spent.

I've beem a member for a long time and never received credit for hotel money spent only the cafe and shops. Is that something new?

On a seperate but related not just recieved the HRC newsletter and online they are having a sale with a lot of the items less than half price:jester:

We purchased items in the gift shop at the hotel and they used our Access card for point balances. Didn't try anywhere else at the hotel.
