We did a 3-resort DVC split stay September 19-30th.
-Nights 1-2 at Polynesian Bungalows: Room was not ready until 4:00pm. No one disturbed us this evening. We did order Twilight Feast room service. Day 2 we were disturbed while husband and I were sharing the bathroom’s spa tub in the late afternoon. Husband robed to answer the door to a man wanting to change the air filters. Husband told him we were checking out next day, he could come back then. Checking out next day around 11:00am, I stayed in the room with the bags as husband called for them to be picked up while he moved the car. Without looking, I opened the door to someone knocking soon after, expecting the luggage attendant; but it was the maintenance man again. I let him in, he went into the first bedroom with a cart, closed the door, and proceeded to make a lot of loud banging noises. He was still there when I left.
-Night 3 at AKL Jambo Concierge: No disturbances as it was just the one night.
-Remaining nights at BWV: No rude intrusions. We were out most days by mid morning and returned sporadically throughout the afternoon and evenings. Trash removal and scheduled housekeeping had already been performed upon our return each day except one. We were there that day when trash removal occurred; but we were just lounging and watching TV. Per usual, on our last morning, housekeeping wanted to clean the room much earlier than our check-out time so I asked them to return after 11:00am, which they did.
ETA: Upon further conversation with my husband, I need to make a correction re our bungalow stay. We were actually disturbed twice. I was in the plunge pool late morning when my husband turned away the maintenance man. A man came for trash removal while we were in the spa tub. My husband closed the door to our bedroom and reluctantly allowed him to collect the trash in the rest of the bungalow, letting him know he was disturbing our getting ready to go out for the evening.
