Galveston - Uber to Houston Hobby

Hi, there! We're cruising out of Galveston in a couple of weeks. We'll be taking DCL transport from the Marriott Airport at George Bush on the way to port. However, we're flying home out of Houston Hobby, and our flight isn't until the afternoon. We'd like the option to eat breakfast at the late breakfast seating (8:15), leisurely disembark and then Uber to the airport. I'm guessing Uber is readily available for this option. Is that correct? I would prefer that to scheduling the every-hour-on-the=hour Galveston Shuttle, as we don't want to rush for the 9AM and don't want to sit around and wait for 10AM. It looks like Uber will be close to the same cost as the Galveston Express. Thoughts?

Can't answer regarding the transportation, but... You say you'd "like the option to eat breakfast at the late breakfast seating" - that is only the option if you have second seating for dinner. You can't have first seating for dinner and "opt" to eat the late breakfast on debarkation day as someone else will be assigned that table for second seating.

We booked Galveston port to Hobby using Saltwater Moms.

We usually use Lyft for the Hilton points and they were plentiful. Of note, we did IAH to Galveston when we arrived and it was $202 with tip.
