Free 1 day water park on arrival

I checked in last week but the waterpark was closed due to the freezing weather. Is it worthwhile to call them and see if they'd addit back to my AP?
Yes it was a very cold last week so you could not even get 1 day much less a choice from 3 days. It never hurts to try but they were only offer a recover pass that was valid to the first 3 days of your stay.

This offer has only been offered since January 1st so modification to the process should be expected.

No change in the water park hours saga (still nothing posted for either park past 3/29).

Wanted to note that the previously planned after hours Springtime Surprise weekend runDisney event at Typhoon Lagoon that was scheduled for Sunday 4/6 was cancelled this week, no reason was given. Could be demand (reports were light attendance last year) or it could always be something TL refurb related, who knows.

Blizzard Beach Polar Patios are still bookable 60 days out which is either a sign or a continuing error.

I’m partial to BB so no complaints from me if it does end up with a longer operating season than the past few years! Guess we’ll see.

Thanks I was able to grab a Patio.

FYI…Disney's website was updated to show BB operating hours through Saturday 4/5 (the calendar previously stopped Saturday 3/29). Currently no hours for either park past then.

Polar Patio availability still continues to be added on a rolling 60, which takes it through 4/16 at the moment (either an error or a leading indicator of BB operating plans).

Ooh I meant to come back and comment—we used this on our stay in January. We had a split stay so used it on the checkin day of our second half. It was super easy—just took the bus from Epcot (we did Epcot that morning) to AK, and then they were running buses frequently to BB it seemed, cause one left as our Epcot bus pulled up but another came before we finished the walk to the BB bus stop. Then we just tapped in with our magic bands, no issues. We had a great afternoon, then headed back to the hotel at 4:15. They had a bus waiting to go back to AK but at AK the bus took 30 min to show up for our hotel.

It was our first time at a Disney water park and we had a great time. I feel like this benefit is really useful for split stays—we prob wouldn’t have done it on our actual arrival day, but in the middle of a split stay? It was great.
