My feet are typically killing me after walking all day in the parks. I have great socks and good footwear that I alternate on days so no issues with blisters, just general foot pain. What do you use to relieve your foot pain? I remember using a cream in the past but I can't remember what it was called. Help!

I use lidocane cream (generic WM) and also use a cooling/heat roll on pain reliever from WM (generic) found in the same department. I apply in that order and let it air dry before I put socks on. I find smartwool or bombas wool socks far more comfortable than cotton. Good luck!

So you use the lidocaine while you’re walking around in the (hot) parks? Not just afterwards in your room? I didn’t think that was ok to do. If that’s the case, I’ll be buying a tube before our upcoming trip!! DH hurt his heel and he might need it. Thanks for the tip!!

Are you normally on your feet all day? The standing & waiting gets to me sometimes more than the walking. Can you start doing some walking ahead of your trip to get your feet in shape?

Do you put these on before you hit the parks?

Desk job, not on my feet at all. Plus I'm overweight so that doesn't help. My wife and I have been walking to help but I know from past experiences my puppies will be screaming by the end of the day! Since it will just be her and I (leaving the kids with my in-laws this year) we'll be able to take things at a much slower pace which should help.

No. I use an ECV at the parks because I can't stand and wait. Thanks though!

My son is a PT and dPT with an alphabet soup after his name. He's not commented before as I apply both and believe me, after getting me through a TKR, he watches me like a hawk when we are visiting at WDW LOL!

Grin and bear it
It simply comes with going to a theme park and walking a lot when it's not part of the normal daily routine, along with age and weight
I know the pain goes away when I go home.
I'm all for grin and bear when it comes to some things. With foot pain though I know I can get relief with certain remedies so I'll use them to get that relief. To each their own I guess.

Yes. We used to do a foot roller, but the massage gun made a huge difference in our last trip.
