Favorite DVC membership perk

well the only 2 I have used this far is the lounge access at Disneyland last summer and extra magic hours this past Christmas. 🎄 Of those I’d go with the extra magic hours. However I’m probably going to buy a Sorcerer’s Pass for me this year and maybe my wife depending on the math.

As a Florida Resident with access to resident passes, I never appreciated the "privilege" of the Sorcerer Pass and felt it's been overpriced for many years. I guess it's a very different perspective when you can't buy it unless you own DVC - then it's "savings"!

We do have them now, but I'm old enough to remember when (the equivalent pass) was ~$400/person in 2011 and now that it's ~$1100 14 years later (7.5% annualized "pass inflation") boggles my mind. I believe those 2011 passes were actually accessible to all, but FL residents got a discount.

We do enjoy the MM events and lounges in the park, but those alone are not a reason to buy direct, IMO.

I think moonlight magic and dvc cruises would be my favorite thing if I get my hands on tickets one year. I agree that the sorcerer pass is ridiculous especially since most of us don't live in florida I can't really justify that. Like realistically I would probably only go out there once maybe twice a year. I think DVC should get pixie dust pass.. when I stay at the resorts I like to enjoy the resorts... utilize the pools, eat at the restaurants, explore other parts of Florida even... i don't see myself going to the theme parks every time. Im assuming they don't let non Florida residents pay monthly either so that's a lot to ask imo

I know I’m in the minority here but I don’t think AP’s are poorly priced.

We just renewed ours in December and have already taken a 14 day trip last month where we’d be maxed at 10 day tickets (hoppers $900+) We are going next month for 3 days (hoppers $576) and again in October for 6 days (hoppers $795). We usually have a 4th trip in there as well. So for us the Sorcerer Pass as long as it is offered is of great benefit to us.

If you use it that much then yes it is a good price 💯
