One of the best things my family enjoys when visiting Disney World is the sweet stores. We will be there May 23rd and it has been 4 long years since our last visit. I just want to catch up on where all the best candy or sweet shops are. If anyone has favorites please list them and if you have pics that would be great. Also, is there a place where I can go read menus to some of these shops? I really love the caramel shop at Germany and the pastry shop at France. I can't remember the names of these places but they are great. Off the top of my head there are two more we really enjoyed and one is on Main Street at MK and one is at Hollywood Studios and if I remember correctly I think it is at the turn going to Tower of Terror. Very good selections of different candies. One of these I think had some kind of fruit slush drink that was very good but I could be thinking of another place. If anyone could give me the name of these places with some pics I would be very thankful. Thanks so much and we are getting very excited about our upcoming trip.

Main St. Confectionary in MK. OMG the cupcakes....so good. We get our sweet fix here every trip.

The Confectionery on Main Street at the magic kingdom. It's the best. I always do a late night candy run here to stock up our house to gave Disney candy for a few months!! Good thing they don't offer resort delivery otherwise I would be in big trouble.

Goofy's Candy Store at Disney Springs does custom rice krispy treats. They had a good selection of baked goods at Big Top Souvenirs in Story Book Circus. The Ganachery at Disney Springs is really good. They have upscale, gourmet, expensive chocolates.

Hi
I did a chocolate-sweets around the world last year at Epcot. (just a game I made).
I was able to find chocolate or sweets in every country--even found chocolate cinnamon ice cream in Morocco.
Italy had some great individual chocolate--kind of morsel size that could be bought individually.(My favorite)
Japan had some great cookies dipped in chocolate.
Canada had some terrific hot chocolate and chocolate pieces (moose poop).
Mexico had some great tequila chocolates.
China had some unique chocolate treats.(Not my favorite)
Norway had many different chocolate bars.(Stratos,Daim)
France had wonderful chocolate croissants.
U.K had my favorite chocolate biscuits,,they didn't seem to have there chocolate bars anymore.(HobNobs)
Germany had chocolate toffees which were great.
U.S.A. I finally found some chocolate fudge and some sea salt taffy.
Have fun exploring
Hugs Mel

In the new area of Fantasyland in MK, way in the back of the "Big Top Souvenirs" store near the Dumbo ride, there is a large circular counter that has many of the Goofy's Candy Co. apples, snacks, treats, and sweets. It's sort off people's radar as a sweet shop, so is never really crowded, but really good selections!

This isn't located in a park, but we love going to the Boardwalk Bakery on Disney's Boardwalk for cupcakes and treats! It's an easy walk or boat ride from Epcot. (lemongrass coconut cupcake and key lime tart pictured)

Ghirardelli in Disney springs has incredibly good ice cream treats !!!

Carrot cake cookie at Writer's Stop in Hollywood Studios. It was supposed to close today, but has received a pardon. If it's open on your trip, try it, so good! And very big, enough to share with 3 (for us). Have a magical time!!!

Love the cinnamon rolls from Gaston's Tavern in Fantasy Land. They are sooooo good.

I always look forward to getting a treat from Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in Epcot. So many yummy pastries and goodies to choose from!!

This is a yummmmy thread! :daisy:

So, I have two. I love Goofy's Candy Co. because every single time I go to WDW now, I always go there and get something I can't get anywhere else....a banana flavored icee!! Also, they have the best chocolate and cake pops.

My second is Karamel Kuchen in Norway. Oh. my. gracious. The smell in that place is heavenly! Thinking about it now makes me want caramel corn....

Main Street Bakery. We always load up on apples and fudge on the way out of the park. I like putting those candied apples in the fridge overnight and then cut in slices the next day. It's Goood! ::yes::

I stayed at Yacht Club last December -- my favorite breakfast was a cinnamon roll from Boardwalk Bakery with a carton or two of milk!
