Electrolux vs Whirlpool kitchen appliances

I have not been happy with the Whirlpool appliances that are in our house but they are not Black Ice.

We have Electrolux 5 burner gas cooktop and electric double oven. Love them both. No problems going on 2 years.

Electrolux gets much higher satisfaction reviews over Whirlpool. If you do a google search with "gardenweb Electrolux vs" you find lots of praise. Plug in Whirlpool, instead, and you won't see raves.

Their cooking and refrigeration appliances are very well liked. I have an Electrolux all fridge that I love. Almost got the wall oven, but ended up with a fantastic deal on a different brand that I like better.

Recommended dishwashers are Kitchenaid, Bosch, and Miele.

I would not do a suite, but get the best performing of each category I can afford, regardless of brand. You'll be much happier in the end.

I have not been happy with the Whirlpool appliances that are in our house but they are not Black Ice.

Same here. We replace our dishwasher, fridge, washer and dryer with Whirlpool about 5 years ago and every one has had to be repaired. The Dishwasher soap thingy broke and a rack clip, the fridge water pump (expensive!) broke, the door clip on the dryer and I just replace a other type of pump on the washer (a quarter got in somehow and put a whole in it so I found water all over my laundry room floor a few weeks ago, cost 266 bucks to fix).

And now we are having issues with the utensil holder for the dishwasher not staying closed. I just put a rubber band around it to keep it shut. I am not spending another penny fixing anything else that is whirlpool, the next appliance to go is getting replaced.
