Electric Vehicles at the resort

I have a stay planned for October. I'm looking at renting a car. I can get a good rate on a mystery category. The vehicle is a hybrid or EV according to the description. I called Aulani and they have two charging stations for electric vehicles. Does anyone have experience with EVs at Aulani? Is this a good idea or should I go with a traditional car rental? TIA.

I've noticed the chargers in the garage at Aulani but don't have any experience with them.

If you want to run the risk of not being able to charge the vehicle while staying at Aulani, then go for it. Otherwise, rent a regular gas-powered car.
