Which of the two rides that are converting to non-VQ status next week will have the longer lines at park opening? Do you think that this will ease the lines for Remy/Frozen at Epcot and Tron/SDMT at the MK in the morning? Interested on opinions.

GotG will have longer lines. It’s a big thrill ride in a park that has no other thrill rides. Because of the location I doubt it will take away much from Remy but maybe some from Frozen. People entering from main gate shouldn’t rope drop Remy and people entering from International Gate shouldn’t rope drop GotG.

Tiana will not be open during EE. Perhaps the Adventureland rope drop will be heavier, but Tiana is on LLMP, whereas Tron and 7DMT are not. I think they will remain the main draw for morning.

GOTG. Tiana will grow as the weather gets more consistently warm.

I expect GOTG to drop the wait for Frozen during EE. Remy will still be full during EE as it's initially filled by IG crowds but I think it will see a bit of easing after park open as non-EE crowds will go for GOTG instead of Remy.

I'm personally happy about the news, as I hope it will make our FEA rope drop a bit less stressful!

Question on GotG. My spouse gets motion sickness on screen based rides like Star Tours. She does fine on coasters. Should she skip this?

Unfortunately there is no way to know, this ride movement is an industry first so people who never get sick are getting sick sometimes and then some who often get sick aren't getting sick. If she takes motion meds I'd suggest she take them and try.

My top tip is ignore the screens, the coaster is a blast and the screens are a boring story about saving the world or something. With my crew it was the ones who tried to watch the screens who got motion sick vs those of us just enjoying the coasting thrill.

Read on another site that a new rope drop procedure was tried at Epcot this morning that might level the field a bit for international gate guests, if I understood correctly.

disregard, I think I misread.
