+1 to this.and mega renters using web bots ruin the DVC experience.
And this. The skyliner is far superior to the monorail. Full stop.

2) I have no idea what a vacation points activity sheet is and so far that truth hasn’t seemed to impact my ability to enjoy DVC.
Right!?! I'm glad I'm not the only one with this truth!Someone needs to fix that activity statement. It's awful! Someone with a DVC contract and a business degree or at least a partially sharpened knife.
AmazingBack in the day, we were provided a spiral binder (I still have it) with pages like a bank register to keep track of points. I still have pages from 1996 until computers were invented LOL! Lots of scratch outs, changes from every call...I used a sharpened pencil, not a knife!
Totally different experience. We much rather rent a house then to use DVC points for Hawaii. We rented a couple of great 3 bedroom homes for a lot less than DVC.
Activity Sheet is just plain bad
Skyliner over Monorail especially to/from Epcot.
This, 100%.
- DVC is not an investment. As @Brian Noble so eloquently offers, it's a toy. Enjoy it as such. And I would add for the spreadsheet crowd, nobody cares about the time value of money when it comes to buying a toy, so please stop trying to convince us that it matters when it comes to buying DVC.
I sadly threw mine away last year. I said enough is enough. Time to get rid of the paper. I really miss the nice full color books we would get each year showing the points and floor plans.Back in the day, we were provided a spiral binder (I still have it) with pages like a bank register to keep track of points. Agreed. The current crop of Imagineers seems to have lost Walt's core principle of never allowing guests to see backstage--to break the magic. That used to be a big differentiator compared to other parks etc. Anyway, things change. The views from the skyliner aren't all great, dumpsters & parking lots--they take you out of the "magic"
I have never noticed this stuff. I must be looking in the wrong direction.Agreed. The one that bugs me most is coming into EPCOT and seeing backstage of France. But I'm an oldschool purist and probably the minorityI have never noticed this stuff. I must be looking in the wrong direction.
Is that like the backside of water? The one that bugs me most is coming into EPCOT and seeing backstage of France. But I'm an oldschool purist and probably the minority
https://disneyvacationclub.disney.go.com/home/pointsI’ve heard Vacation Points Activity Sheets mentioned a few times but never could find them. Anyone have a link? I’m curious
