DVC bands are glittery, non-DVC bands are just normal with no sparkle.Oooh I didn't know there was a special band for owners. Following your post to see any replies (and off to visit my friend Mr Google to read up on them
I do love sparkle.....DVC bands are glittery, non-DVC bands are just normal with no sparkle.
Thank you @kyton ahh so as I've upgraded my bands to premium ones we won't get the sparkly ones then... unless we can purchase one in the gift shop? It would be nice to have dedicated DVC bands so don't mind paying oop for themDVC bands are glittery, non-DVC bands are just normal with no sparkle.
Oh wow! thank you so much for explaining, I'd never heard about them before. So it seems it's to prevent unqualified peeps from pool hopping. Thanks again kytoonThe bands aren’t something you can buy - every day you have to go to a dedicated site with your room key. They then check you against the hotel records and issue however many bands are needed for registered guests. They actually put them on you there and then - you can’t easily remove them, most times you need a knife or pair of scissors. No bands means no access to the pools, slides, chairs, lazy river etc. The CMs are trained to look for the bands.
ermmm No @olafLover I wasn't aware - I didn't think to look where the post came from ooops so this doesn't apply to my home resort of AK. Thanks for letting me knowYou are aware this is in the Aulani board right?
Haha can you tell I'm new to all this stuffThe premium bands gave you away
