Do You Still Ride All The Rides

I skip some, notably Rock N Roller Coaster because the restraints bother my ears as my head moves around. Others I skip because I don't care for them much, i.e. Little Mermaid and usually Dumbo and Barnstormer. GotG and ToT are my favorite rides and I do them as much as I can per trip. Love Space Mtn, Big Thunder, EE. Usually skip Kali Rapids because I don't want to get soaked.

Used to be a single line repeater on G-Force Rides while DW staid outside but a 2011 bicycle riding crash at age of almost 61yo caused issues that mandated a reduction in number of rides per visit to where it's now a can not handle at all.

I've been with the grandkids recently- both coasts. I'm not doing Rock Roller coaster again, felt beat up after that, but I loved Guardians of Galaxy Coaster. Space Mountain was soo much smoother at Disneyland vs Disney World. My grandkids are now old enough to ride alone , I'll wait in the line with them for Dw Space Mountain but wait at the exit next time..

Matterhorn at DL hard to get out of for me, and they really rush you. Liked the ride though. I watch them ride Astro Orbitor bc of the problem getting out easily

Everything else, good to go! We did an Universal trip this summer, and they were rider switching for me to ride Velocicoaster- they said we will wait for you Granny!
Maybe next time, such a cool ride.

Edited to add- not Barnstormer, too cramped

When i was a teen if I didn't go on the "thrill" rides I was considered chicken. I haven't grown afraid of rides -- just don't enjoy being bounced around.

I ride them all! Tron, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Rock n Roller, Tower of Terror. The only ones I don't ride are the little kiddo rides.

Still capable of riding them all, but for some reason Soarin' has become an issue. My legs get tingly & i feel like I'm going to fall out. Not sure why, i have never had issues with heights or anything.

That's weird I get all tingly on Soarin' too. I still ride it hoping I'll enjoy it because it's a nice ride, but for some reason I get a weird feeling every time. I didn't feel that way at all on the Avatar ride.

Exactly the same, i find my self leaning back on Soarin' trying to just enjoy it, also yep Avatar was awesome, no issue whatsoever.
Funny thing too is my friend practically gets sick on Smugglers Run, but no issue with Soarin or... we'll i guess we'll see how Avatar works out later this year. lol

Star Tours was a one and done for me years ago. 🤢 As my knees and shoulders got worse, I stopped riding rides where I am too low and have to push myself up. Pirates is fine because I can grab the seat in front of me. Did Mission Space non-spin 2x but don't need to go on again. Love all of the coasters, but I somehow hit my shin on RnR so I skip it now. Tower of Terror is one of my favorites, and I love the new version in Disneyland.

When I was young(er) I would ride anything and everything! Now, at age 60, I have rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and bad knees.

The last time I rode BTM I felt so achey and had pains in my joints and muscles that I didn’t have before I rode it. It just jostled me around too much.:headache:

I can still ride ToT easily. It’s just straight up and down. Star Tours is still ok, but it’s very jostley (I know that’s not a word) lol. I choose to not go on RnR or any other coasters because I don’t want to find out that they’d cause me aches and pains, too.

I’m so glad that I’ve ridden all of the rides so many times in my life (except for the newest ones), so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. There’s so much to do and see at WDW anyway, so I enjoy those other things now. :sunny:

I have some difficulty getting in and out of some rides, like the Navi boats and Safari trucks, but I manage.

I can’t do some of the more jerky rides, like what the Rocking Roller coaster used to be, and the Guardians is now. I’m not even attempting Tron lol. My neck can’t take the sudden moves and take offs. I miss going on them though :(

I started to deal with motion sickness in my 30s from screen based rides. I now avoid some because they just throw me around a bit much.

Due to motion sickness I avoid Flight of Passage and Star Tours.

Due to claustrophobia I avoid Mission Space but I think it would do me in on the motion sickness, as well.

To give my body a break I avoid Space Mountain, Barnstormer, and Dinosaur.

Just came back from 5 days at WDW where I rode all the biggies . Was lucky (early) enough to be first rider of the day on Tron. Made sure to do BTMRR before it closes. Doubt I'd be up for back to back riding of things like Everest, but with crowds these days/without LL, that's not happening anyway. I do make sure on certain rides to "brace" myself if it's going to be rough. (I'm looking at you Space Mountain!) The newer ride systems certainly have smoother motion, which my neck appreciates.

I went to DL in September and rode Matterhorn. Neither my or I thought it was jarring at all.
Not like the Hulk at IOA.

I don't know if there ever was a time that I rode all the rides and I've been going to WDW since the late 70's. These days' it is more like hitting a single ride. Instead I enjoy taking in all the little details in the parks.
