Do I need Fastlane for House of Blues tonight?

I'm taking my son to see the Bon Jovi tribute band tonight at the House of Blues. I was planning to get there at 6. Show starts at 8. I was just on a HoB reddit that said that people start lining up around 2pm! Do I need to buy FastLane for this? I', debating whether we should try eating there but there's no way we can each eat $30 worth of food and I don't want to be holding leftovers at the show. I've never been to the HoB but does anyone know how crowded it's expected to be tonight and whehter it's worth the money? My husband is going, too, and he's not as keen about paying for FastLane. If it were just me and my son, I would do it.
