Hey All,
Welcome to the Disney World Attraction Tournament!!! This is kind of a game / bracket in many ways where all the attractions in the 4 theme parks: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom are drawn into a bracket, and we will all vote for which attractions we like better in 1 vs 1 fixtures throughout many rounds until one attraction is the champion and basically gets the title of the best attraction at Disney World.
Attractions have been seeded based on presumed popularity for the bracket draw. We will start with a Wild Card Round which is the Play-In Games due to not having an exact number divisible by two all the way. So the really popular and best attractions will get byes and start in Round 2. Each Round will last one week, and obviously the attraction that has the more votes will move forward. In case of any tiebreakers, we will extend one extra day and everyone can revote again, but only has 24 hrs; winner of the second voting round due to a tiebreaker moves on.
There are a few different ways you can vote. After I posted the fixtures for the round; you can quote my post and bold, underline, or italic your choices, or you can just write your choices in a post. I will be keeping track of everyone who is participating, so please do NOT try to vote twice. I will catch that easily! Also when you vote, please feel free to comment as to why you voted a certain way or why you made your choices. It is NOT required but highly encouraged, so we can get some discussion as to why people pick certain picks for their favorite attractions. Feel free to discuss results, choices, and predictions as to how far attractions will go in this thread as well! Deadline for the round will be posted at the same time as the round fixtures.
I think that is everything, but let me know if you have any questions. I will have the matchups for Round 1 posted ASAP, so we can get this tournament going and start voting!
Note: I also have this posted on another Disney Forum "WDWMagic": https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/disney-world-attraction-tournament.985472/ , the results will be added up on both and counted. While I plan to post my votes on both forums for people to see; they will only be counted once.
