Disney Princess Sing Along Songs

Can anyone tell me exactly what's on this DVD? DS.com didn't have a very good description. Thought it might be a nice surprise for DDs to watch on our road trip down to DW on the 25th.

If You Can Dream - An All New Princess Song

They are clips from the movies of each song. They show the words to the song at the bottom of the screen like karaoke. They have other things on it too but my DD'S age 6 love to just watch and sing the songs. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. DD4 can't read yet but can sing along. DD2 likes trying to sing too. Sounds like they'll love it!

Since my little princess is a real Disney princess fan I got all 3 the day it came out. (figured I would end up getting them anyway, why not get them all on the same reciept, that way I would have it to send away for the cardboard castle for 7.99 S&H.)

I thought the princess stories was disapointing, but DD does like it all the same. It has 4 stories, 2 are ones from the T.V. shows. Little merrimaid has the wish apon a star fish (the best of the epidodes where ther is a Deaf merimaid that uses ASL, it is rather cute) and one from Aldain. Then they have 2 read along type stories of Cinderella and Belle, using cut and paste animation from Cinderella 2 and B&TB. (like the extra story on the Cinderella 2 DVD.) Kind of lame. There are some games and each DVD has the new song "If you can dream".

Sing Along Songs also has bonus features,

Karaoke
Find it word recognition game
letter puzzle spelling activity
what's this, reading activity

and Dance along songs (3) Put it together, beauty and the best and once apon (another) dream.

We haven't veiwed the princess party yet (trying to bride DD to eat some veggies to get it, this girl won't eat any veggies!) This one apears to have more games and activities (what DD really likes anyway) 8 games, 2 stories (mrs, potts party and message in the bottle) , a party planner and DVD ROM activities. (screen saver, party checklist, custom invitations, coloring pages, thank you cards and recipes)

I would like to see more original matteral in it, but what are you going to do? 3 1/2 year old DD thinks it is great so far.

How much did you pay for these DVDs? I didn't have time to get to Costco or Sams. KMart had them for $14.99 each and I did buy two but I am hanging on to them in hopes of getting a better deal.

I really wanted to give DD the party one today - her birthday. She is having a princess party next Friday

I paid 14.99 also, at target. I didn't see a better price anywhere (I was hoping for better then that, but oh well.) I would at least give her the party one today, it apears to have a lot of ideas for birthday parties. It looks like a great birthday gift. (I would save it for then, but DD birthday isn't for 6 months!)

They have them at Sam's Club for 32.99 plus tax for the set of three. My friend just bought them today.

I bought them at The Disney Store with my 10% DVC discount, but they started at $14.99 each (with the send-away for the free tent). So far I've only given DD5 the Sing Along Songs. I'm holding the other 2 for a while...possibly xmas or good behavior rewards.
