What is causing the power outages at AK? Storms? Heat & power grid issues?

I think the weather has been pretty clear, so probably not storms. May be heat / power demand issues as it looks like it's been very hot.

I'm with you!! If I would have known more would return in July, I would have picked July! We'll be there 6/23-6/30 so fingers crossed we catch something!

Rumors in another message board where folks tend to know a lot of CMs say that Disney is targeting July 1st to begin fireworks. Grain of salt and all that but thought I'd share.

If this is true it's literally the day we leave- I could scream haha.

I just made a park reservation for July 1st so yeah, I'm thinking we will! MK is sold out for the 1st so just booked HS and imagine we'd park hop.... It'd be much more convenient if 6/30 is the start date because we already have a MK reservation for that day. Come on Disney....!

Im hearing that Parade Control CM's are being told to be ready for 7/1 return @ MK Im assuming that we will hear about Epcot soon as well. They will need to have something else at the same time or it will be a train wreck. Im glad we are at BLT

Well, I suppose we'll be sitting in suspense all day now.



Also trying to prepare how I'll explain (beg) my mom (who kindly watches my two crazy, anxious, rescue dogs with separation anxiety) that I want to extend my trip one day. Better bring her back something real nice if this happens.
