Just saw a post on IG that Gameloft will be conducting scheduled maintenance tomorrow (4/8) from approximately 10am GMT to 2pm GMT. So roughly 6am ET to 10am ET. It says the game serves will be temporarily unavailable.

That is right before the kingdom pass season ends so hopefully everyone claims their prizes before they shut down the servers. I have a feeling that it will be longer than they say.

Just tried to open the game (10:25am EST). I got a message that there is an update and it popped me into the iOS App store to download the update. After the quick update, the game did come up. The Season pass looks to be completed (I don't see it). From what I can tell, there is some changes to the location of some of the icons. I also have the ability to watch videos for gems (which I don't usually get until the evening) and the other one at the entrance to the park.

It does appear that they have moved the character sets around to get ready for the upcoming season and event. I see Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Wreck-It-Ralph and Disney character sets in the "featured" area. Appears the token shop has also been updated to include Matangi, Kele and Simea. I don't see tokens for Loto, but I am just needing Flower tokens to level her up. But no Moana Relic tokens.

Also, it does appear that you can purchase Henry J. Waternoose (Monsters, Inc.) for 500 Gems. There doesn't appear to be any $ bundle available. Not sure if there will be and it will appear later. It is possible that it could be part of the Gameloft club purchases. Just looked and don't see anything currently. But was surprised to see the free daily gifts were available already.

After the update, during loading I noticed that I have a new player ID. Everything seems to be working okay though.

I have a new player ID too. Odd. And just after I finally memorized the last one.

I bet that all of the daily reset things will now happen at the same time, instead of the daily tasks at one time (in the morning for me) and the video chests at a different time (evening for me).

I think that it is very odd that none of the new Moana 2 characters can collect the common token - that is just really crappy of GL. I mean, I have three Moana 1 characters, so I'm fine. But for newer characters who played this event and got some characters and new attractions, they should be able to upgrade these new characters and they can't in any way (and don't say, well they could upgrade an attraction to get them, because that would take ungodly amounts of resources that newer characters do NOT have).

Just updated too. Parade floats have relics as rewards now too. I can get Mickey and Friends, Toy Story, Cindy, Wall-E, and Tangled "common" relics from the parade floats. Not worth it for Mickey or Toy Story because of the lower gem rewards.

I think that it is very odd that none of the new Moana 2 characters can collect the common token -

Actually, this is normal. If you look at the Ice Age characters, none of the new ones (from the last event) can collect their common token either. It is only the older/original characters that can collect the common token. I do agree that they should allow more characters to collect the common token. Or, at a minimum, if you have any attractions at the highest level, have it drop common tokens you are still collecting on.

You are right about that - but there are fewer people who are harmed by this - as the first Ice Age event was so recent. But lots more will be harmed by this one (since Moana 1 was ages ago).

Did you all see - seems that some of the more recent redemption codes will still work with your new game number.

I was on the gameloft shop site to get my free Figment and Daily chests. They do have a Henry J Waternoose bundle there now. It is $8.99 US versus the $9.99 in-game purchase. You get the same items with both bundle. Or he is 500 gems in-game. If you plan to spend $, may want to consider saving a $1 and do via the gameloft shop.

There was a post on IG about some recent issues that, for the most part were resolved.

There was an issue with ads not providing the rewards. Compensation will be provided to all players later today. The change of the player name is not a bug, but intentional change. For the redemption codes, you need to start using the new player id. They stated the redemption code website needs to be updated to indicate the new format. You are unable to request the previous player id format. I guess there have also been issues where leveling a character was not successful. For these issues, until it is resolve, contact Customer Care (make sure to use your new game id format).

I went to the gameloft club to get my figment and other daily token. When I go to the site, I saw the daily token, but no figment token. But I did see the kingdom pass offerings. It seems there will be the two paid levels again. I think one was $19.99 US and the other was $22.99 US. But when I went to get my daily token, I was forced to sign in again. Once I was logged in, the figment and daily free token showed up. However, the kingdom pass offerings were not there.

I know that people complain so often about too many events, but I get really bored during the down times like this....
