Disney Magic Kingdoms

The LCs have been noticeably stingy. And I have not bothered doing the zone upgrades after the first one. Is it even worth it? Am I missing something?
I did each one to get rid of the quest, just once. I don’t see it as much help. Maybe others have a different thought on these. I had so much magic that it just wasn’t necessary to me.

I try to get to the second level, as the blue wishes that you get once a day/zone that is at 2 is the only way for me to get some tokens for some characters (other than with elixer that I don't have any to spare). For instance, they have helped me get Hiro to level 3 (when I can't get one of his tokens) and Little John to level 3 (when I didn't have any way to get one of his tokens). But I only have 2 zones to 2, and one other zone to level 1.

Did they say which characters are in the sapphire, ruby, gold chests etc for the TC? I can’t seem to find that info anywhere this time and don’t want to waste EC on a chest if I’ve already got everyone in it.

FYI, just got a push notification in the game (iOS) that the hotfix/update is available.

As to the questions about the Zones, like Arundal, I would just complete the task to clear it out. If I recall, the intent of the Zones was to help you gain more magic in the particular areas. When they used to have more uses for the magic, it sort of made sense. However, now I don't think it really helps much. If anything, it makes you clutter up an area with all of the decorations and occupy space that you could use to put out attractions.

There is a lot about the game that has changed over the years. They have introduced something new and then basically abandon it down the road. Then they change the mechanics of the game and nullify some of the changes made prior. Probably all in the guise of "based on customer feedback".

Anyone get any compensation for the error? I got new update and the weekly and event tasks are counting now, but no compensation.

Got the hot fix patch in iOS. Weekly and event tasks are now being recorded, but nothing that was done prior to the patch. Means I'll have some weekly tasks that are not likely to be completed, and some event tasks that can't be completed. For example none of the 20 exploration tiles I cleared already have counted. I have to clear 40 tiles, and there's only 40 remaining from chapters 2 and 3. I won't have Gus in time to clear his tile. So a task I should have finished no problem at all (59 tiles cleared only needing 40) is now impossible.

Has anyone else noticed that if you don't complete your weekly tasks, that they roll over to the next week? There were a few times I decided to re-roll for a different task a few days after the weekly tasks reset. If I didn't complete it by the end of the week time period, it just rolled over as an extra weekly task. Now, I do get the Kingdom Pass. So not sure if that is a benefit/feature of that.

Yes, it's worked this a way for quite a while, perhaps always?

Just got my compensation for the error - 4000 Happiness, 5000 MC, some cocoa (10 maybe) and some memory balls for Inside Out common token.

That means that I will be short on happiness for the week/event, but maybe pretty close. And I'll take the 5000 MC - likely means that I get another concession at the end that I would not otherwise get.

And for person who asked what is in the chest in the event store - just tap on them and it will give you the option to open what is in there. If nothing is in there other than happiness, you have all of the 8 potential character who could have been in there.

Yea, I have been around since the Mulan event so I have observed the changes that they have made that end up being obsolete as well. That is what I basically thought about the zones. I don't like having Merlin in my quest que, but I like the clutter in the park even less!

Got lots of compensation which has propelled me into level 43 for the season.

All TC explorations are done, Chapter 1 points surpassed and working on collecting tokens/leveling.

Wowza. You are significantly farther than me, and I even remembered to buy the pass with the bonus credits this time. You know, I thought that they gave us 5K in happiness in iOS, but it was only 4K in Windows. I am not sure though and that doesn't even make sense with what my two different games look like (Windows is at Level 38, while iOS is at 32... and I of course play more regularly on my iphone). I bought my KP in the Gameloft store for Windows and not the other. Perhaps there were more bonus happiness with the Gameloft version? Not that any of this matters, I am just curious as to why people are always kicking my butt in the game when I feel like I am playing super regularly.

Some of my weekly tasks did credit and I've been blasting through them today for the happiness. And I have 10 of the event tasks done. That all adds quite a bit of happiness for the season.

Ah, OK. I didn't realize that anyone actually had weekly tasks working at all before the fix.

Huh, just realized that the Olaf quest tasks never started for me on iOS, even with the fix.

Got Elsa in the level 25 LC. Always good to get a character, but of course, she is unhelpful for the event - as I would have to get her to level 3 to be able to go on a chapter two exploration. And her costumes now show up in the chest, and further make the odds worse (although, I'd rather get a useless costume than another useless bench, even with being able to use the benches for elixer). But better than another Frozen bench.

That's a bummer. I don't think they should make character level a factor for explorations. If you have Elsa, you have Elsa.

Well, for chapter one, the exploration characters just have to be at 1, for chapter two, they have to be at 3, and for chapter three, they have to be at 5!!!!
