Disney Magic Kingdoms

I am sitting at just under 700 gems right now, which is an all time high for me. So, I have been really intentional about this. I agree with your range, and would even prefer the spooky chest chance. I can't be convinced to fork out $25 dollars for pixels that might disappear, especially given they laid off their Toronto office this year.
Right there with you. Again, not surprising from them but super disappointing

I don't have a horse in this race, but I tend to like the idea of buying characters more than using gems and hoping for a good pull. Why? I'll admit I spent a decent amount of money every time Legendary or Spooky Chests came around with characters I didn't have. Sure, I got lots of tokens and other stuff in the chests, but I'm going to guess the price per character now (as a whole) is less than the chest bundles I spent money on.

Over the weekend moved in Tier 66 for the season and got 7 of those vine trap things out of the way. I normally stop at the last happiness reward, but I'll probably keep going this time...the 75 gems in the yellow ribbon chest sound good to me.

So, for this vine trap event, this is how they have made it harder: First, the normal content characters have 6 hour tasks, with the helper character having a 4 hour task to clear the cages. Historically, it has been 4 and 2 hours. Then they have Zurg also have a task to collect the string stuff (with Hamm). So, you have to decide between string and clearing cages. And they have doubled down on the regular characters going out in pairs, not on separate tasks.

So, if you didn't play Coco - you don't get this chest without spending money.

There's something about the concept of straight up buying characters that bothers me, but in this case I'm all for it only because the drop rates on those Spooky Chests were terrible. I'd specifically saved up iTunes credit to buy gems for Spooky Chest season, knowing it might go to waste again, and this time I was just able to buy the characters directly (still never paying for the last character in an event though).

Also, I saw on ******* that the 75 gems aren't a guarantee anymore, and that the yellow ribbon chest now had varying levels of gem rewards with decreasing drop rates the higher the gems (so anywhere from 10 to 75).

How do you earn your iTunes credit?

Also 15 gems. Between this and just concession chests for the second event, not sure I'll bother going beyond the final happiness reward in these events moving forward.

Thanks Jason. And a LC in the calendar - that is nice.

Also - the 1 week of extra "rewards" for visiting the calendar is nice. I got Miguel from Coco from the day 1 Red Ribbon chest. Also, with the extra 120 gems for the week, I'm planning to buy a premium character - either Rex or Pluto. What do you think - which one would be more helpful to have in my kingdom?

15 gems for me as well. The Muppets chest in November is nice. I am missing several in my Windows game. I found the mini-event for 15 gems worth it.

I kind of lean towards Rex, but it depends on how far along you are. A legendary chest on the calendar usually means that there is an event coming up around then, so you may want to wait until 11/7 to decide?
