Congratulations to PollyannaMom, Elizabeth Smith, and me for turning James Rogers Red! And the TEAM has reached Geppetto Green, at 104%, thanks to Twilight Sparkle's remarkable times this month!

George Banks is the father of Jane and Michael in Mary Poppins. Initially a stern figure, by the end of the movie he has learned the importance of family. The salvaging of the Mr. Banks character was examined in the film Saving Mr. Banks, which looked at P.L. Travers' (the author of Mary Poppins) relationship with her own father. Thanks for joining me this month! Here's a final "father" moment (though not a warm and fuzzy one), when Luke Skywalker faces off with Darth Vader. I remember seeing The Empire Strikes Back in the theater, and the revelation of Luke's parentage was so shocking!
