Deals for Canadians coming September 10

Yes! I'm so excited! I already have a room booked and I'm hoping the Canadian discount would apply for my dates!

Also, okay, for the tickets, it says this:

So, does that mean that the Canadian tickets would be 25-33% less than the 4day tix USD price?
For ease of math: if a non discounted 4day ticket in USD was $100, then would the discount make it cost $75-67?

yes in theory ... it's for date-based, Muti-day tickets. So say, the ticket is $500 USD, we would be charged $335-375USD depending on the discount for that time of year. With our conversion rate, that's close to being an at-par discount. It's a great deal, but you do have to pick your dates and they are nonrefundable. I hope this offer stays posted for awhile and is not just a flash sale. I guess we will know further next Tuesday!

Also, wanted to add. When they had these Canadian specials in the past, you had to go to guest services prior to first use to prove your residency. ie. show them your passports. That then activated your tickets. so plan on doing that on your first park day. Or, we preferred to go to guest services at Disney Springs the day before or use the guest services at Epcot crescent lake entrance to avoid taking up too much park time. Looks like that will be the same requirement.

Oh and if you want to update these tickets on your trip, they only retain the discounted price on them.

Would a driver's license work instead if a passport?

In the past, it wasn't enough on its own. I think it's because they're not trained to recognise our provincial licences (much like being carded for drinks). I understand not wanting to take passports to the park, that's why I visited the guest services the night before. I think a picture of your passport on your phone with your drivers licence should be enough?

Ah well, the thing is, I am a resident of Canada, but I have a US passport. I live here full time for school so I have a study visa, provincial driver's license (no more state license), health care, Canadian SSI, address, credit cards, etc. I am a resident just not a citizen. So ... my passport wouldn't work in proving that lol I'm guessing I'll need my license and study visa then?

I honestly don’t know. You are right that it just says resident of Canada, and not citizen. Perhaps your drivers licence and a bill showing your address would be enough? Like an electricity bill?

Okay, I'll bring a bill or lease with me, just in case

If you weren't a US citizen you would need more to get across the US border, but you should have documentation to get back in to Canada because you're staying longer than a vacation. This will show up when they check your passport, and they might ask for it.

They don't accept our drivers licenses as official ID in the US because some provinces don't meet the requirements to use it as official ID. There are a bunch of reasons, but it varies by province and this is a provincial jurisdiction.

Dang I was really hoping they’d release a US deal today too, but no luck. Wish I could book the Canadian one as it at least covers a few of my dates.

Just heard back from my travel agent about our 2025 March break booking. DH and I were booked for 7 nights at Pop Century and 3 nights at the Contemporary with 9 day park hopper tickets. Between the two reservations, we saved just over $1800US with this discount! This might allow me to graduate from Loungefly to Dooney & Burke when I'm doing my souvenir shopping lol :)

That's AWESOME! Congratulations! No savings for me unless I want to downgrade my reservation. Even then, iys only a savings of $15. Not worth it. Happy dooney shopping!
