DAS just for MNSSHP?

Are you able to apply for DAS just for the party? We decided to add a quick two day trip in October just to go to the Halloween party... Are you able to apply for DAS if your only ticket is a party ticket?

Typically there is no DAS for parties or after hours events, it usually it isn’t needed. However, should you come across a long ride line and have a das, they may honor it if they can. Parties have very short ride lines, and you won’t be able to use DAS with characters in our experience.

I’m not sure they’d even do an interview if you didn’t have a pass or day tickets attached though.

DAS is available during these events. The timeframe between "park closing" and "party starting" it does not work on the MDE, you have to get it in person at attraction, but as soon as the party or event starts it works again on the MDE.

2022 I arrived to do a party with no park ticket for that day. We got our DAS in person and she explained how it would work (above) and it worked exactly as explained. I even tested the in between time frame.

The difference NOW is that everyone must do it online and we don't know yet if having just a party ticket will qualify for a DAS with the new system. We should know a month out of the parties starting.

Ok, thank you for the responses. I'm going to try when it's 30 days out... worst that can happen is they say it doesn't work that way (or deny us LOL).

Not our experiences at After Hours last summer and this fall. We will test it out again at After Hours in a few weeks, but typically it doesn’t matter as it isn’t needed anyway. The lines for rides are super short.

ETA: it appears I’m wrong. So that’s good news for DAS users.
