We have a DAS pass for my family as my daughter is disabled. We are only going for 1 day and wondering if we should also buy a lightning pass?? We visit 12/23 so ? If the DAS pass will even be helpful for even 1 or 2 rides if the wait times are super long.
I’m so confused! What does a lightning pass do and would this work with a DAS? We can’t buy lightning pass until 3 days before and I read that sometimes the on-property people use them all up.

Due to poor tolerance, many cannot spend extended periods in the park, buying multi pass for 3 rides ahead of time will give you 3 definitive timeframes for attractions (at least) and then can supplement with the DAS. If your daughter struggles in this area, it may be a good idea. So even if a DAS return time is an hour, you can “just keep swimming”, accomplish more in a shorter time frame, and then be able to take a few extended breaks. Hope this helps—have fun!

If you purchase a LLMP for a day you are able to select 1 Tier 1 and 2 Tier 2 attractions or 3 Tier 3 attractions. As to if you get additional selection it will be harder on Dec. 23 to make additional selections for top most popular attractions.

You also might want to ask in the DAS subforum: https://www.disboards.com/forums/disabilities.20/

The great news for the LLMP you get to see your first 3 attractions before you purchase. It can't hurt to check at your 3 day before point.

Thank you!
Is a multipass the same as a lightning pass? So you can prebook 3 rides instead of 1?

Maybe. There is nothing called “lightning pass.” The Lightning Lane Multi-Pass allows you to pre-book up to 3 attractions before arrival and hopefully more in the park on a rolling basis (max 3 attraction reservations at any given time). Lightning Lane Single Pass is available for specific high-demand attractions, maximum of 2 per day.

DAS Return Times will be dependent on the posted standby waits. So if it’s a one hour standby you cannot enter the LL for 50 minutes.

Ok- very helpful.
Sounds like you can tag team the DAS bookings with the multipass lightning lane.
This will be perfect as my daughter doesn’t always understand waiting and had no concept of a schedule or how long something is.
Thanks again
