We will begin our vacation at WDW and then go to the cruise. Booking our arrival flight to Orlando is no issue but is there any recommendation on what time to book our departure flight since we will be going directly to MCO from the cruise.

I plan to book the DCL transportation from WDW to PC and from PC to MCO

@Mags2002 do you expect to still be sailing this coming January 2025? Or maybe spending time with the princesses at WDW again?

My current contract finishes in December. I’m not quite sure what I want to do after that, although I do miss spending time with some of my other Princess friends, especially Anna

Anna's one of favorites too. She saw one of our homemade shirts of us that we add to each trip and asked us to see if we could make one of her and Elsa so we add to this each time on we meet them on the Fantasy and now the Wish we just wish we could get a picture with both of you at Epcot too!

If you were going on a 4 night cruise and it was your first cruise, would you spring for a verandah room or just not bother as you would be too excited exploring the ship?

I wouldn’t unless the price different was very small. I am perfectly happy with an ocean view or even an inside. We are rarely in the cabin there is so much to do all around the ship! And so many great places to get great views. Just no reason I need to sit in my cabin.

Any possible concerns about seasickness? Having a place for fresh air without having to go to a public space can be invaluable when feeling queasy and looking at the horizon can also help.

I would do oceanview rooms on any of the ships but I would NOT recommend an inside room on the Wish class unless there are only two adults traveling... those inside rooms on the Wish, Treasure, and soon to be Destiny are poorly laid out and smaller. The inside rooms on the Dream and Fantasy have the cute virtual porthole. And if looking at inside rooms on the Magic and Wonder, see if you can get a sideways room as they feel bigger due to the layout.

Can anyone "clear up" the idea of asking for "off menu" food items at dinner?

I am mostly referring to asking about any kind of curry (or other Indian) dishes that are not listed on the menu. I am guessing they are for staff dining? I have seen online where people have asked and received for this in the past, but I am guessing it isn't very common? Is there a proper way to check with dining staff? Just asking because we are doing B2B on the Fantasy in a few weeks... And it might be "fun" to change up the dining a few times.
