That has to be so frustrated bc you only have 2 options at DL. I can typically something at SSR or OKW.

It is so bad this year. So bad lol What ever you do, do not look at https://www.***************.com/rentals/ and see all the confirmed reservations added this past week
I am glad I just decided to play it safe and book a stay in November. December this year has been the hunger games.

Im sure I know which you are referring to since Im aware of the commercial rental abuse, and its sad. I have hope Disney is finally going to do something about it.

Yeah, although each resort has its pros and cons, I'm happy no matter where we stay at WDW.

Agreed 100%. We go most every year in early Dec, and this was the first time I was actually concerned about not getting the rooms we wanted at 11 months - and that was for dedicated 2BR villas, and that's not supposed to be the really popular room type like studios! Clearly the word is out that's a good time to go, decent point value, holiday decorations, without the late December crazy crowds. I wish people wouldn't have found out about that!

No need to add on if I can't get the rooms I want anyway! Hope next year is better.

You can always book 11 months before checkin. If the UY your dates are in has enough points, you don’t have to bank or borrow.

Remember, when you book has nothing to do with what points you can use. Everything depends on the use year of the trip. You can always book 11 months from check-in, and you can use points from the UY that the trip is in, you can use points banked from the UY before the UY the trip is in, and you can borrow points from the UY after the UY that the trip is in. But it all depends on the UY that the trip is in, it has nothing to do with when you book.

With 400 pts,were fine. The cure for addonitis was when the cost per point went over $100. Most likely be over $300 a point by the time Lakeshore Lodge opens.. You can have it, we have enough DVC resorts to stay at in WDW.
