Crystal Caves/Lost River Cavern Pa?

My family and I are planning to take a day trip to either Crystal Caves(Kutztown) or Lost River Canyon(Hellertown) tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone has been to either one. There's only a $1.50 price difference per person between the two. Also, are there any coupons in the local area? Like in the DD or McDonald"s?

I've been to both, very similar, I thought the cavern at Lost River was longer, Crystal cave is nice. The grounds are nice, it's changed and not so wet and sparkly like I remember of my youth. For Crystal cave I would see how close Roadside America is also, nice second stop, I think out I-78. Cabellas is near roadside America too.

Wow... that brings back some memories. Went to Crystal Cave a loooooong time ago when I was a kid. Very cool place. Wonder if Kutztown is still home to the world's largest flea market?

I'll second the brining back memories. We went to Crystal Caves as a child and I loved it. I was cleaning out a drawer recently and found the little book of mini postcards I got when I was there. The formations were really cool. Much better than I've seen at most caves I've been to since; the only one that was better was Carlsbad Caverns.
