Crocs...socks or no socks?

I've bought crocs for the whole family...I'm curious to those who've worn them in Disney World before, do you wear them with socks or just barefoot?

I haven't worn them to Disney yet...only a month and a half to go! But I do wear my Disney Crocs to work everyday, and I couldn't imagine not wearing them with socks. Being rubber like material, I would imagine huge blisters without socks, but I know tons of people wear them sans socks.

I am on my feet for hours at a time (I am a veterinary nurse) and I have never loved a shoe as much as this one!!

I wear only crocs at the parks and have not had a blister since I stopped wearing my Nikes two trips ago. I wear them whenever I have a lot of walking to do, and around the house all the time. I always wear socks with mine...I've been wearing those short socks but am going to get the ones that don't show for the summer. We were there a couple weeks ago but it was kind of chilly so didn't mind the socks coming up on my ankles but now I have a sock tan line! Going to try and avoid that next time!

I don't wear socks if I'm wearing shorts. I mostly wear jeans, and prefer to wear socks. I'm the only one of 4 that does. The only bad thing about wearing socks, is if it rains. (my crocs have the holes)

Beyond the fear of blisters my other concern is luggage space! lol

I have three kids...x 7 days...that's 21 pairs of socks! haha...that's a lot of space in the suitcase! I was amazed how much room the 14 pairs of undies for my girls took up! haha

I wore mine last week to the parks every day...no blisters, no socks. They are my new favorite shoes!

No socks. That way, when the afternoon rain comes and your feet get wet, they dry more easily. No blisters yet.

Just a note -- if you are going in summer, you'll either want to change socks or go barefoot because of the rain. When it rains, if your socks get wet you will get blisters. It's the socks causing them not the Crocs, but it is true. I made this mistake last year. After a day of doing the socks, I went without. The rain just runs right through the Crocs and your feet dry quickly. NO Blisters!

While at WDW, we DO NOT wear socks with our Crocs. There is not much worse in WDW than wet feet.

Last year I bought Crocs for my DH and 3 boys. My husband decided that he wanted to wear his tennis shoes that day and the boys followed his lead. Not me, I wear my Crocs (without socks). Needless to say, a summer shower soaked their shoes and socks. They were miserable until they could get back to the room and change into their Crocs.

No socks at the parks. When it would rain, all we had to do was shake the water out. I would put a little powder in them at the beginning of the day. My feet never hurt. No blisters. NOTHIN.

It never occured to me to wear socks with the crocs when I bought them last month until I saw people hear say thay they wear theirs with socks. I like them much better with socks, my feet were kind of hot and sticky without. I just wear the little foot socks.

I have done both...and think that is a matter of preference.When we wear socks if begins to rain we take our socks off and put it in our fanny packs that way when the rain stops its nice or if you are still wet the dry socks feel good on your feet...but no blisters no matter the way that you use it.
I work at Payless and the Airwalk brand its good too,just be sure that your wearing the rigth size and you are good to go!

I also am one that live in my Crocs. I don't post very often but I just have to post on this. I found a website that carries Disney Crocs and they also have Disney Jibbitz. I don't get blisters from my crocs, but sometimes get a little 'hot spot' after many hours of continuous walking in them. Last weekend I just carried a little pair of light-weight socks in my bag and did put them on with my crocs towards the end of the day - easy enough to slip off when the rain hit and slip back on dry if I needed to - I'd suggest you pack at least a couple pairs of socks in case anyone in the fam has a problem - the light-weight socks are super easy to wash out at night!

I wear crocs just about everyday at home with no socks (unless I'm trying to disguise them as dress shoes at work!) but in Disney I ended up with blisters from them. It rained every day so the moisture hurt me. I'll only wear socks with long pants, though.

Besides the internet, what stores do you buy your Crocs at? I've seen adult ones at a couple stores but I want to get a pair for DS. He takes a toddlers 5 1/2.

I got my son's at Olly..its a kids shoe store, and my daughters' I got at Boscov's its a department store from PA..and mine are from hallmark!

I wore mine in March with socks as well as most days to work, but it was cool too then. I'm thinking when we go next month I'll start out with socks and when its hot or rains I'll pull em off.

I have tender tootsies and I go without the socks in Disney. I hate hot feel and like others have said, your feet dry much faster without the socks should it rain. Never a blister........ I love wearing my crocs in the parks!
