We went to WDW last week. I was surprise to find that there wer no computers around for guests to use to check or send e-mails. I would not want to do business while on vacation and it was nice not to have to check e-mail for me. My teenage DS was trying to meet up with a friend who was staying in FLa. with a relative. He needed to confirm arrangements and thought he could do it by e-mail. We went to front desk of PO-FQ and were told he would have to go to Coronado Springs resort or one that had a Conference Center to use a computer.

One other option that I can think of is at DQ. On the 4th floor is the Wonderlands Cafe. Many of the booths around the wall have computers with Internet access.

I often take my laptop, not to do work but to be able to check my home email.

In Epcot in the world showcase near the boat launch there is a booth I think it is AT&T were you pay buy Visa and check e mail. The site for the booths is very near to the place were people stand in line for a launch....

I was counting on there being a Cyber Cafe in Orlado for E-mail and the like (have to keep in touch with the office for emergencies). Another?? Do any of you know if you can convert digital images to CD or floppy (heaven forbid) at a Cyber Cafe or anywhere else in Orlando?

This is what my son did: his friend was still in NY and he wanted to send him a message before he left to meet us - we went to Epcot and in Innoventions there is a booth where you can have a photo taken and sent to someone...he managed to squeeze in a short message to his friend back home...it worked!!

There is a Cyber Cafe in Kissimee. I haven't totally checked it out yet, but I hope to use it for transferring my digital images off the smart media card to something else, be it floppies, CDs or e-mail.

The web address is www.netkaffee.com. I think the website said it cost $5/hour for use of the computers. If anyone in the area cares to drop by I would love more info. Otherwise I will e-mail them and post if I get good info.

Disneymom92, I was wondering about a place to load images on cd's from my smartcards. I can't get the link you listed to work. If you get any more info I would very much appreciate it. We'll be going the 1st of June.

Kinko's, CopyMax, OfficeMax, OfficeDepot; many of them have computers that you can pay a nominal fee to use. Most of them have scanners and other input devices as well...

I have a really old laptop I plan to bring to my hotel. There's only like 32MB free to save anything on, so I am planning on also tagging along my zip drive, so I can hook my digital camera to the laptop which is connected to the zip drive and transfer the pictures off the camera to the zip drive. If you have a zip drive that can use parallel or serial port, get a cheapo laptop off eBay for $20-$40 and use your zip drive. It's a lot less hassel than going to a cybercafe where you probably pay $20 or something to use their stuff (as long as you know what you are doing with the laptop, camera and zip drive). Granted the laptop is slow as anything, but as long as it can run windows, might as well use it to get pictures off your camera as you are winding down for the night at your resort. Come back an hour later and hopefully everything will be transferred.
