I mean, other than Stouffer's brand of course ;)

I have tried to be a good little budgeter by making double batches of entrees, but sometimes forget what should be the easy part...putting the darn things out to thaw.

So here I have a half portion (9x9) of a lasagna I made and froze. I forgot to thaw it out, and was wondering if I can cook it from a frozen state? (If it makes a difference, I used barilla non-bake noodles). I looked online and couldn't find any instructions for how to cook a frozen lasagna so I'm thinking, hmmmm, maybe not :) But I thought I'd check with the experts :thumbsup2

Can anyone help?

I would think so, if Stouffer's can do it, why not you? Is it in a metal pan? If not, could you microwave it to defrost? If it is, I'd just pop it in the oven for longer than usual. Maybe check a Stouffer's in your grocer's freezer and see what time/temp they recommend! Good luck -- let us know if it works!

Oh yep, I should add that it is in one of those disposable metal pans. :)

Sure you can. I do the same as you -- make two 9x9's instead of one large. We have one for dinner and I freeze the other. The one I freeze is every bit as good if not better.
I cook at the same temp. but a little longer maybe add 15 or 20 minutes, but check on it.

Sure can! I wish I could remember how much longer you cook it, but it's been a long time since I've done it!

Well...wow.

Recap: 4 layer frozen lasagna in a 9x9 aluminum disposable pan.

I cooked it at 400 degrees.

It took THREE hours to heat through completely.

But when it finally finished heating, boy was it good :thumbsup2
